there will be a new SS Division. it will look like a smaller Corps HQ and have the Waffen SS flag on it. all future SS division tents will be recruited from this new building.
up until recently our build order had a mech/infantry HQ for the Waffen SS. this then jumps straight into an armored division. the problem, from a gameplay perspective, is that there's no real benefit to recruiting infantry from a Mech HQ. the AI never did it, and I only ended up doing this when my economy didn't have enough oil to support a lot of mechs.
the new Waffen SS Infantry Division fixes this problem. it will also postpone the deployment of some of the more diabolical SS regiments from the Mech HQ until a later in the gmae.
I believe this will help balance out the gameplay a little better-- so that the SS isn't so over-powered relative to the other elite forces.
