All original territories modified.
My 88 new territories.
My 4 original neutral water territories split to 5 playable.
The 5 original neutral land territories playable.
Plus all the new territories from the Gizmotron and theharkonnen Uncommon Valor mod that are not duplicated or conflict with any of the other territories.

i just got the idea that you may want some feedback so there is it: your current version of the mod doesn't work together with uncommon valor beta 2 at all (clean install of the game, copied uncommon valor and then your map layout for uncommon valor overwriting all conflicts; in the end- using win xp to make sure although in win 7 there were the same results). during load process of the game there goes some popup about duplicated ID of Hawaii map. for the record on vanilla game it seems to work fine and dandy. Nice work by the way, your mod breathes some life into that old game ;]

I can’t understand why you are having problems.
I have it working just fine in uncommon valor beta 2.
If you remove the original
Data/MetaGame/RandomMap file folder
Data/MetaGame/WorldMap file folder
Data/MetaGame/mg_map TGI file
Data/MetaGame/mg_territories TGI file
Data/MetaGame/mg_campaigns TGI file
And install my files included in the patch File folder named A&A Uncommon Valor mod Beta 2 it should work.
You have to make sure you install the new Data/MetaGame/mg_campaigns TGI file or you will have a problem.
For the original vanilla version you do not have to change the Data/MetaGame/mg_campaigns TGI file

Just checked everything out. You did not remove the old and load the newData/MetaGame/mg_campaigns TGI file that is why you are having errors.

the problem might be with uncommon valor having 2 maps called hawaii.tgi with ID mg_rmc_hawaii2 and hawaii2.tgi with id mg_rmc_hawaii. in your mod there are two files: hawaii.tgi and hawaiisouth.tgi. therefore after merging uncommon valor with your mod there are hawaii.tgi, hawaii2.tgi and hawaiisouth.tgi where hawaii and hawaii2 have the same IDS.

changing hawaii2.tgi IDS to mg_rmc_hawaii2 or deleting the hawaii2.tgi results in entirely different error popup about "unknown IDS pOL_worldmap_mgai for data manager MGAI".

so it doesn't work and there are some major compatibility issues.

It is working very well and I enjoyed doing this.

I ran auto war using Gizmotron and theharkonnen Uncommon Valor mod beta 2 with 16 (modified) independent factions (added Pirates) no allies 4 different times over a 6 hour period last night checking in on it from time to time without a problem.

Very interesting to see how the game is different every time you run it with different factions rising to power.

Also loaded the map files into the original version of A&A on another computer. Figured it was time to check it out and see how it works and that works well also.
That tells me it will work in any mod.
