OH! OH MY GOD YES! *Cries out manly tears of joy and nostalgia uncontrollably* LEGENDS WILL NEVER DIE IN OUR MEMORIES! *Plays General Rahm Kota theme and battle theme: Youtube.com * Oh and BTW shouldn't it be left to right and not right to left on the description?

I can't be the only one who still prefers to call it Expanded Universe as legends? Legends is just such an absolutely unfitting title for such a great Universe.

Have you tried darkening the blue on the Militia saboteur? Thats a good trick

Oh god, these prequel memes.

The blue is somewhat accurate but darkening it is a good idea. It looks silly to me too but I felt it fit with the uniform for some reason.

Also will finally fulfill the fan's endless desire to have a Rebel Venator!

Yes, but still! I've always argued that there should be one as a reward unit or as Rahm Kota's flagship. Just one. And now we've got it and more!

I take it this Venator will sport some nice Rebel logos? :P

Edit: Now that I think about it. Will this Venator spawn fighters? If so, then what? Just your usual rebel fighters?

It will most likely be the Starbird inside the Republic Navy symbol. Probably have the faded Republic red as well. I'm not much a fan of the idea that the Rebellion paints their ships all flashy and so.

It will spawn fighters since that's the point of having a Venator but what those fighters will exactly be is yet to be decided. I'd imagine Republic Z-95s and other Clone Wars ships alongside cheap alternatives.

I distinctly remember that the Militia had Y-Wings in their arsenal if that helps. So maybe Z-95s and Y-Wings?

What specific Y-wing? Rebel or Republic?

I also remember the Venator Kota was able to commandeer had a name though I can no longer remember what it was.

It was the Rebel variant, the BTL-S3 Y-wing starfighters.

It was called the Liberator.

That said, this is the SWFannon so I wouldn't necessarily take that seriously...

Just one, but I can always code it in as buildable ;)

And they spawned the Rebel Y-wing if I think, but in my opinion the Republic Y-wing would be more suitable, as they commandeered it at the end of the Clone Wars to flee!

This is glorious!

Will you be adding more TFU and TFU II heroes such as Juno, Galen Marek etc?

probably for Juno, Galen not sure. We're still limiting ourselves to replacing Obi-Wan and Yoda only (As stated in the description Kota will replace Obi-Wan.). We don't want there to be too many Jedi.

I see, in my opinion you should add Galen (or his clone) if you're going to add Juno, especially since Galen (and his clone) where/are very important to the early rebellion!

Also will you add a not-blind version of Rahm Kota?

While I appreciate all the hard work that is put into this mod, I'm kind of skeptical about adding the screwed up Jedi stuff from legends. IMO, TFU killed the sense of wonder of the OT. Yoda explicitly tells Luke that he'll be the last of the Jedi when he is gone, yet LucasArts had nothing better to do that ******* that notion all up by adding all kinds of wonky, unmemorable Jedi characters to the OT timeline.

Luke, Yoda and Obi-Wan were special because they were the last remnants of an almost gone cult. Now every douchebag runs around with a lightsaber. I, for one, am glad that these shoehorned characters are no longer canon. And don't even get me started on how the prequels demystified the force by establishing dumb midichlorians as the cause of force sensivity.

Out of curiosity, what do you think of having individual fighters in space instead of ones in squads being implemented into your mod? I've been pondering about this idea, as the Rebellion is known for not having too many fighters, focusing on quality over quantity.

Description

For those who think all Legends things are gone.

Kota's Militia will be the source of many unique units for the Rebellion. They will provide the Rebellion with a Venator in addition to their powerful early game units.

From left to right:
Militia Elite (by AQT)
As stated by their name, they are the Elite of the Militia's special forces and will handle the special forces' heavy weapons.

General Rahm Kota (by Gu_tucci)
Leader of one of the first rebel cell, Rahm Kota is an important asset to the Alliance for being a great warrior and a Jedi. (He will be replacing Obi-Wan Kenobi for continuity.)

Militia Saboteur (by Icemember)
Most common of the Militia's special forces, Saboteurs are more lightly armed (DH17) than the usual militia soldier but they are better protected and are very flexible in combat.

Militia Soldier
The most common soldiers in Kota's militia, they are equipped with the A280C, a rifle which to the Rebel Alliance is a rifle only reserved for special forces early on, so these soldiers will be quite effective and valuable.
