This version of the Assault Frigate will be replacing the Nebulon B2 of the Rebels since the B2 was mainly an Imperial ship.

Less armor but more speed?
Less armor, less weapons, but more speed and non-targetable engines.
Awesome! Maybe Boost Engines ability and faster turn speed? Thanks to those big dorsal and ventral fins.
With double pylons, wouldn't the ship necessarily have more weapons?
It lost a lot from that mid section. And even so, the weapons on those pylons are significantly lighter than what would have been on the Dreadnaught body.
Its a replacement for the Nebulon B2, which is now only available for the Rebel Alliance through rewards. It's mainly an Imperial vessel now.
Will the imperials have access to the Nebulon B2 if the rebels no longer have it?
Yeah, its a Imperial ship. This is just replacing it for the Rebels.
A few questions about the new Assault Frigate.
1. What will it be called? We already have the Assault Frigate, so how will we refer to this variant?
2. If it is replacing the Nebulon B2 for the Rebels, will it be cheaper than a normal Assault Frigate?
Not sure yet. I usually call it Assault Frigate B in our discussions. It will be cheaper than the original due to its lighter armor and weaponry.
How about calling it the "Modified Assault Frigate" or the "Light Assault Frigate"?
