Inspired by the old RTS Star Wars: Rebellion, AotR brings many features from this game and other titles such as a more in-depth mission system, tech system, and many new units! Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the criminal Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the feint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and difficulty. Versions newer than 2.6 can be found on the steam workshop only (due to issues with the non-steam versions)
Here we go, the modified Scrap Yard Venator for use in the Black Sun Fleet. Repaired and refitted with old spare Parts of Wrecks from the Clone Wars Battlefield. They also give them more Firepower with Heavy Quadturbolaser Turrets.

Is that a Munificent frigate command bridge that I see there? I love the unique merging! Also I love that the Black Sun are trying to compete in making these things up to match modern warfare! I wonder where are the Easter eggs around here? Hmm...
Yes it is! It have some Parts from the Recusant Class, Munificient Class, Radardome from an ISD, Antennas from VSD I and the Radardishes from the Dreadnaught. They catched what they get and molded it on the Hull.
Well then I guess those other ship parts were the Easter eggs!

The Rebels won't receive a build option for Venators. However Rahm Kota in 2.7 will use a Venator in space battles.
You didn't disappoint... i noticed that the side hangers are closed, is this the new weakness mentioned, less fighters
One of the Weakness ist they are not as durable as the standard Venators of the Empire, of course just in the Section they had to rebuild. The Fighter Loadout is the same as actual, the Hangar Doors will open and close themselves in the Game. :)
By that do you mean the hard-points on the rebuilt sections have less health or something?
Yes! In my first Test battle, the venator is able to break the shields of an isd, but sacrificed 75% of its hardpoints.

I love the model as it is but just a random thought. What if some of the engine units were replaced by ones from a Munificent or Recusant? Just to make it look even more mismatched.
