Links to the steam workshop download and our discord can be found in the description! Awakening of the Rebellion is a total overhaul of Forces of Corruption. Inspired by the old RTS Star Wars: Rebellion, AotR brings many features from this game and other titles such as a more in-depth mission system, tech system, and many new units! Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the criminal Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the feint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and difficulty. Versions newer than 2.6 can be found on the steam workshop only (due to issues with the non-steam versions)
Another awesome contribution by Sly! Leia Organa can take advantage of her status as a diplomat and help you get past those Imperial Blockades. Fantastic as a Fleet Commander: drive her straight into the enemy fleet, allow her to trick the enemy into negotiating over some biscuits and tea, and hyperspace your entire fleet on top of them!
P.S. Model for the CR90 is temporary.
Leia: "Diplomatic Immunity!"
Vader: "It's just been revoked!" Proceeds to blast the corvette from the stars.
That's actually a very clever and well-thought out idea to use that special ability, lol.
This can be used in so many different ways. Heck, Leia could even go straight towards an Imperial Escort Carrier or a Venator-class Star Destroyer, blow their entire considerable fighter complement to smithereens without the capital ships capable of doing anything about it and then get away with power to engines afterwards.
That Republic-class Star Destroyer model also looks so damn nice. In the "canon" Legends images that exist of this ship class it looks nearly always totally ugly, but this makes it actually quite a looker. A neat hybrid of a Star Destroyer and a Mon Cal-ship. The "dents" in the hull even give it a callback to the Venators of the Old Republic, making it a worthy mainline ship for the New Republic.
I really wish that Leia would take the role of Bale Organa in game... it'd make so much more sense! Combine that role with this one and it would just be so great!
She is not her [adoptive] father but it will all make sense... ;)
Sure, but Bail is dead by the time the game period starts so again, it makes sense that Leia should take up his role given that he died on Endor...
It will all make sense.
Also >Endor<
Yeah that was a typo... my bad I meant Alderaan lol
Bail Organa died on Alderaan, when the DSI blew it up :(
I like the way u think, ThatOneBullet! ;D
