Autumn Aurora 2 it's modification made by small group from Poland which brings the autumnal atmosphere to the Zone and totally overhauls the graphics, audio and gameplay of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl.

At first every single voice in the game was polish. Even though I selected the English option during installation. So I came here to the Autumn Aurora FAQ and followed these directions. Delete (or rename) the contents of Gamedata\Sounds\Characters_voice folder EXCEPT: Gamedata\Sounds\Characters_voices\scenario\bar\radio_music Gamedata\Sounds\Characters_voice\scenario\megafon Gamedata\Sounds\Characters_voice\scenario\video\aa2_splash(two files with _l and _r I did that and the cinematic videos are now playing in English but the NPC's are all still polish. So the trader at the start speaks polish in voice but the text is in English. I need all voice in English because I don't find it very immersive walking around not understanding any of the chatter between the NPCs. Also when accepting quests or tasks they get skipped. Like the trader asks you if you want to be treated like a rookie or a STALKER and if you pick rookie, the PDA screen opens for a split second and closes and then you're just standing there looking at the trader. Same thing happened when I went to Wolf to accept his quest. A screen opened for a split second then closed. Any suggestions? |
