Assault Coop Mod is all about co-op! Each map will include save points, objectives, events, and even a mini-storyline to it. Players will be able to make tactical plans to take out enemy strongholds. You will fight to complete the mission along with your friends and along with some AI allies. Coop mappers can customize their maps with over 20+ custom/edited triggers. Survival, Waves, Campaign, Escort, Tower Defense style maps? Yes they can be made in Far Cry with Assault Coop Mod

Hello this is Flameknight7 aka Jackie Siu! Assault Coop mod was put together for your coop gaming enjoyment. This is a beta of version 3 of Assault Coop. It is a total revamp of the previous versions and works really well so far. In this downloaded package you get 7 of the single player campaign maps to play in coop. 8 of the stock multiplayer maps were modified for coop. The TDM/FFA are wave maps and the Assault are base clearing maps. Also, 2 custom assault coop for your testing enjoyment. Plus a bonus "lobby" style map called "Map_Select" where you can choose what level to go next.

place the "Mods" folder into your far cry directory.
DONE!To play:
load up in mods "Assault Coop"To edit your own coop maps with Assault Coop:
create shortcut for editor.exe
in the target add "-MOD:AssaultCoop" to the endchanges and notes about the v3.0 are included in the txt files.
in the AssaultCoop folder are preset grouped objects you may
find useful for building a coop map. the ".cry" files are
included with each map in this downloaded package as examples
on how to use the custom entities. Also, i included an icon
for a custom shortcut if you likecredits to those that i've included model packs from. Honestly

Too bad there are no good coopgames with a decent campaign out of the box available.
It seems like developers don't won't to include coop in games.

How many maps are there in the single player campaign?
I kind of want to wait till the wholle campaign is done to play LAN coop at home!

hmm apparently i just noticed that i submitted older version of some of the mp stock maps. Only mp_radio, mp_dam, and mp_airstrip work fine however the others have spawning issues. Don't worry the campaign maps are fine. I'll post a quick patch to fix the stock mp maps but i bet players only care for the campaign maps
ok i tested them and its only the mp_monkeybay, and the night version, and mp_surf that are broken. mp_airstrip and mp_dam are clear out the base maps. the others are wave defense maps. To increase the amount of minimum amount of guys left to show up on your radar you can adjust "gr_WaveCompass" in your console.
Thanks but I mean how many maps are in the complete campaign and will you be completeing the whole campaign for lan coop?
there are 20 maps total in the campaign. i have done most of the changes to every map except the spawning of AI.

First of all, this is great mod! It's shame there is so few fps coop games.
But I have problem with this mod: when I'm playing over LAN with friend, sometimes I get _unsynced_ really bad, and I have to reconnect (suicide doesn't help). Anyone experiencing this too? Thanks.

This is one of the best cooperate mod i've ever seen! All the converted mp and sp maps are great! Cant believe you made this all just by yourself, great job! Looking forward to more maps and a new version :)
