What is this?
As noted in the description, this is a base First Person Shooter mod you can easily edit to get your own going easier.

What will it offer?
This default base has remade character, weapon and camera animations, along with a folder packed with easy-to-edit files so new modders/interested people/anyone really can edit them quickly and without much hassle. It also has a few how-to notes/tutorials if you're more interested in editing the original files directly.

Additionally, once this mod is released, I'll upload all of my source files for animations, models, particles and anything else relevant. This means you'll get the files necessary to edit everything I made without having to start over or re-export things from Milkshape.

I'm also taking suggestions so in case you come up with a cool idea, let me know and I'll see if I include it or not.

You can take a look at the screenshots/videos I'll be posting to get a better idea of how this is looking.

After some 7 months (wow!) without a single update, I've come to give some good news: immediately after that one comment about not making any progress, I managed to get 3ds Max, the program which because of a problem didn't let me reinstall it, to work again! This means that from now on I'll be able to work on animations again, which are this mod's main comoponent and which give it the bigger part of its First Person effect.
Maybe this is too short for an article but I felt I had to let you all know of the news as soon as I could and before I let any more time pass without saying anything.
So yeah, I just wanted to say that I'm back, that I'm sorry for disappearing, and that the mod isn't dead (or me either!).

Hey, sorry all for disappearing, but I didn't have time to come around.
Unfortunately, I am unable to make progress at the time because of 3ds Max not wanting to work anymore. Argh.
I'm trying everything in my power to get this thing on the road again but I'm seeing little to no success. I'll try to keep this somewhat more updated.

Probably not 100% of the weapons, but the ones that really need them will.

Quick note:
I've been getting some distraction but managed to get one or two things pulled off:
- A few death cameras. I found these to get glitchy when near a wall so I've thought about leaving deaths in third person.
- Bloodpools. They appear on some death animations and can also show up if you shoot an enemy a few times after he died!
- A new reload animation for the Desert Eagle, which is looking pretty cool, and finally,
- A prototype Knife. Click to slash and reload to stab.
