The files to the unfinished FPS Mod are now available for download.
I decided I'd upload this stuff here for everyone after all. Unfinished or not, it's sad when things simply disappear and never release.
Whether you just want to check it out and play around for a bit, or plan to use the files inside for your own projects, you can now download a .7z archive with everything that was made for the mod. You need 7-zip to unpack it (download available at the official website).
Inside are two directories:
- data_FPSOld: the original version, with the most content
- data_FPSNew: an extremely early version of a remake, with basically no content at all
To play either of them, place the corresponding directory into your Max Payne install directory and rename it to just "data". Just note that the two versions are not meant to be combined.
I've said this in the Read Me as well, but these files are provided as-is. There will be no further releases.

how can i install this?
You need to copy/move either directory (data_FPSOld or data_FPSNew) into your Max Payne 1 install directory, rename it to "data", and launch the game. Make sure no other mods are selected to avoid conflicts.
Remember to rename the "data" folder to something else when you want to disable the mod.
