Concentrating on the late medieval period, Age of Chivalry: Hegemony replaces or significantly alters each of the civilizations in the original game, while adding a number of new ones, allowing the player to control Central and Western European states. Many new units and technologies have been added and gameplay dynamics have been changed considerably in this complete overhaul of Age of Empires II.

The cow is just an editor unit at present. I should also say the graphics of the cow are from Forgotten Empires.

I didn't see these beautiful mills in-game, while playing the Frisians... are they editor-objects?

These mills do look very nice. Much better than the ones I've seen anywhere else. Great job! Not to be a meany though, but weren't the dikes build much later the Frisians especially were well known for building on mounds in the earlier times - if memory serves me well.

Thanks! Dikes were being built in Friesland from the 12th century onwards, ie the same period Age of Chivalry starts. Terp villages predate those by centuries - the oldest are from around 500 BC.

Description

A Frisian settlement is protected by the sea dyke. This image shows the new mill and houses for the Dutch and Flemish countries, on the left you can see the 14th/15th century variants and on the right the 12th/13th century ones. As you can see there are five house graphics in each set, and I hope to give other building sets more house graphics, too.
