Hi there everyone. Well I just finished the skins on the new soldier models. Dave went and made some awesome new soldier models. I personally think he did an outstanding job. In earlier versions they where wearing gas masks, but I asked him to replace those with night vision goggles.
Skinning these models was quite tough, but I think they turned out rather awesome. There are around 6 variations and they use the combine A.I., so they'll do a proper job while fighting them.
These will replace the older soldier models. I hope you'll enjoy this small update !!!
NOTE: I know they don't look like regular soldiers, it's all good, everything is meant to have a purpose !!!

I gave them these colors as an homage to the hecu soldiers from hl1
Im talking about the singlet, one roll on the ground or some broken glass and their shoulders are screwed, they need a vest or something like that.
haha I hear ya, but again they're meant to look "different" for a reason. Can't say too much about it though. Personally don't worry about those kinda things too much. It's a game, not a realistic style representation.

I'm not understanding what a lot of people are not liking about the soldiers. They're meant to look different for a reason within the game. I'm sorry everybody, but that's just the way they're going to look.

I like them, but they could certainly use a long-sleeved shirt. But its very different (except maybe from Far Cry) and still looks pretty kickass.

I don't know why, but the night googles and the little light on their chest reminds me of Splinter Cell... Except that the colors are different, and they looks much more badass!
:) well, I saw the night vision goggles when I was looking for some kewl gear for these guys to use, and these goggles are based off an excisting nvg. Sam fisher is a cool character I'm glad you think that these guys are bad *** :)
