That is a really poor excuse. If that were the case, he could at least have posted something explaining the situation. Internet cafe, friends computer anything really.
He simply gave up, he was all alone on this project and it became simply to much.
Again, a shame that he couldn't share any form of information about his current situation, so I guess we will never know the truth.
But what you are saying seems highly improbable, no computer or Internet for over a year after working on this project for a long time, and then suddenly complete silence since 25.11.2012. (If not longer)
And you have a few other sites where is a member where he has shown minor activity. (At least with the same username)

To anyone else, does anyone knows if this works together with like SGM or something like that?
It is nice to see the positivity in people, but really. It is going to be a F2P MMOFPS, with no single player option.
Depending on how much alike Stalker this game will be, it is going to be far away from being balanced.
No option to actually mod the game, which is the only reason stalker is still alive.
But judging from all other f2p mmofps, this is going to be a disappointment - and don't forget about the f2p, which will mean over time, pay-to-win.
I really hope that it will be a good game, but from past experience with f2p mmofps, it won't be. Keep being positive!
The same thing was said a year ago *This mod is not dead, but I do not have the time to do the regular updates*.
Then he says that he is like 80% - 90% done, and so his computer crashes.
By the time S.M.R.T.E.R 0.45 becomes available, people have forgotten stalker. Most will probably have either moved on to the disappointment called Survarium or found something else.
But I really hope we get some form of update before the end of the year.
Sounds awesome. With SGM 2.2 and english translation, I will try it out.
To bad that S.M.R.T.E.R. 0.45 was shut down.
"The way to pripyat" was a great mod, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience something new - quite a lot of new monsters and material in general!
But really, of all the mods out there, the SGM 2.2 on master difficulty (with alpha squads/more mutants) is still the best out there, hands down! I can't stop playing it.

Once again, thanks :) Btw, I'm playing "The way to pripyat", a minor annoyance on my part is that one does not see the mission location, and some quests are like "Find the PDA....", and that one cannot open any of the chests, frustrating!

Btw, the SGM 2.2 English all-in-one which contains, Atmosfear 3, Absolute Nature 3, Weapons addon, English Translation.
Is it the 'regular' version or the Ethon one?
Does it contain the SGM 2.2 fix 19.03? Does it also have the weapon addon patch? Since you weren't specific about it, I'm a bit unsure on what more I should get.
Nice to see that you are still doing this david, keep it going! Btw, can you recommend something alike SGM 2.1/2.2? It is a masterful mod, but I've done everything one can do with it.

It was pretty obvious that 0.45 would never happen. But do you have any info on why he stopped making 0.45?
Does anyone know the reason for why this mod was banned/removed for nexusmod?
The "gamedata" folder must be placed there, in your installation folder.
The subfolder of gamedata, should contain folders called "anims" "configs" "levels" "scripts" and so on.
Just click on me and check out the blog i posted, it explains how everything should be :)
I usually download these in a speed of 1,5mb per sec.
The description is the following:
"Use the ground penetrating radar device to search the swamps in the hope you can detect the military cargo."
And I'm running, and running like a buffoon. Sometimes its fun with the detective work, but not when it comes to searching the whole map :P

Listen, I'm on the forth quest on in the SGM 2.2, bombing that door. I cannot blow that piece of **** up.
So, I tried to restart the whole chabang, but that did not help.
I put the explosives, as close to the poor as possible, in every angle, but it just won't work.
Any suggestions on what to do in this situation?
I tried to use a RS-15, but of course that didn't work. Now to find a regular c4 :P *sigh*

The third quest at the start of SGM 2.2, you are suppose to find the body of a guy named Tamerlane or something like that.
Without having a quest marker, I'm running around like a blind idiot, I've been everywhere, and I'm starting to think, that his damn body has just vanished :P

You should totally try "S.T.A.L.K.E.R cop - Sigerous SGM" mod.
It is awesome in so many ways, new weapons, locations, artifacts, factions.
Search for david.m.e here on moddb, he got the links to what you will need in order to play the mod, look for "SGM 2.2".
You can use a structural plan, while allowing a certain degree of flexibility. But the part when one starts strolling away from the structure, is the part where you just keep throwing on more and more work, thus creating less quality control for the endless extra work.
Anyway, I will join the crowd of watcher, and wait for the very promising S.M.R.T.E.R 0.45 in silence ^^ (to some degree at the very least).
Meaning that there is no structure, no plan, which will be a insufficient choice when comparing to having a structure on which to go with.
So do you disagree with me when I say "Follow the 'feature' list, release, and build upon that".
The S.M.R.T.E.R mod is a excellent choice to play this game, and the fact that he is doing it alone is amazing, if someone asks me of a mod, I always recommend S.M.R.T.E.R.
It would just be nice to have some form of date, but when doing the structureless way as currently performed, he can continue to 2015 without any form of release.
Just saying.. :P
Of course, the decision on how to make the mod is entirely yours to make, but wouldn't it be easier for you to release what you've already planned, and build upon that?
That way you would have a plan to go with, making the work you do more efficient, and later on take the feedback from the community onto the next patch.
But screw the percentage, let me put it even simpler then, "Do you expect to be done with this version of the s.m.r.t.e.r mod in 2012?"
But I'll have to say, to work with something as huge as this all alone, is pretty impressive.

Without sounding like a d*ck, but if you have planned on what to do, you would know the percentage to some degree.
I mean, as you wrote "Currently it's 38 maps, next week it might be 40" is the same as saying "I have no plans on what to do next, I just make more as I go".
Why not complete the "features" list, release, then just patch it up as you create more awesomeness? :D
That might have sounded like I'm a total douche, but didn't know how else to put it :P
