honestly, A LOT can be added to the naval aspect of SC2. I mean, look at TA. They had entire bases that could be built on water, and the Core and the Arm were just at home fighting on all water maps as they were on land. Also, the naval AI needs a substantial beef-up in terms of area owned and structures built. My Dad plays this game as well, and often times, all it takes is one nuke to completely ruin a naval AI's day and render it useless with no counters available.

Definitely go with the first model. Aircraft carriers need a control tower, especially if they're going with an all-drone force like SC2 does.

Haven't checked in in a while. Been playing Sins of a Solar Empire. But I just saw the new desktops and images.

I....I think I need a towel now.....

Small glitch to report here involving the cosmic ray collector for the Norlamin faction. The recharge anti-matter ability does not autocast, and when manually activated, the action stays queued on the command card long after the effect has expired. More manual activations queue more commands till there are too many to fit on the card.

Its a problem with the vanilla game source code. I've had this exact problem occur on my games twice (was running the absolute corruption mod) and have read that other people have had this problem as well. As far as I know, there is no fix for this bug. Really, I think I'm just gonna delete EaW at this point. If a solution hasn't been found by now, it probably won't be fixed. Such a waste.

I notice the vulture droids are manufactured in less than a second on the GC map. Is that an intended feature, or did someone make a typo on their build speed?

Also, I tried recently to do windowed mode, but when I changed focus from the game and came back to it, it froze for a good half a minute. This occurred everytime. Anyone else noticed this effect or did I mess something up?

Aside from that, AMAZING mod! The AI is extremely difficult to keep pace with, and provides a very good challenge. Really have to bust out the strategic thinking to beat them. Lucrehulk FTW.

Did a complete uninstall/reinstall, and painstakingly went over the instructions. Apparently, I installed to the wrong data directory, and got it working now. I also fixed a problem I was having with the AI. Now, my fleet can get its teeth kicked in by a Lucrehulk Battleship and 9,001 vulture droids just like everyone else on this site :)

For some reason, whenever I use this mod, regardless of whether or not I have the GC patch installed, it immediately crashes when I click "begin" on a conflict on a GC map. Kind of sad since I freakin love the CIS. I'm running an NVIDIA GeForce S under Windows Vista Home Premium. Followed the directions listed in the install manual to the letter, and would really like to see this fixed. Anyone got any ideas?

Quick question regarding this mini-mod. Does this also change the factory assist feature to be more like classic supcom? I mean, I notice the cost to create a unit increases with each engineer assigned, but it seems to level off at a 50% level. (Tested on King Kriptor. 3:10 normal time, 110 seconds with 14 engineers +ACU. 42% build increase) but my energy income changes dramatically and does not reflect this. (+132 to -334.2)

Since I've been checking on this mod every week for about half a year now, I got a question to ask. How close are you guys to letting us play with those awesome ACU's that you keep showing off in the image section?

Why are people complaining about an anime SupCom? I'd watch the crap out of that!

I don't know about this one. The legs are too stubby, the pods themselves are way too small, the torso design looks awkward, and the feet are too tiny. In my personal opinion, if I was going to design a missile bot, I'd use Battletech's Catapult as a reference and go from there. Sorry.

Zataku - - 20 comments @ Cybran Unit maybe a ACU

The back of the legs could use more substance. The fronts are fine with their armor plating, but it looks like that mech could be crippled with one shot to the backs of its knees. Otherwise, damn fine model. In my game? Yes, please!

The new ACU models kind of remind me of Zio Matrix designs from the old Armored Core series. Always did like them the best.

Not that I'm trying to rush you guys, but this mod pack would make an AWESOME Christmas present to your loyal fanbase. :)Just saying.
