if its not too late, improvements are:
make it like a modern composite crossbow (as HL1 bow was based)
show the darts sticking out of the cartridge so it doesn't look like bullets

flyspyguy, i think you are a bit harsh, but true. You ever think it possible to control a huge walking robot with a joystick and three buttons? thats the formula for falling on your face

game is GREAT i've had about an hour's gameplay and it was brilliant. VTOLs are a mission to handle but fun all the same (probably cos i am happy every time i dont fly into a mountain ;D). vehicles and mechs have an easy to use, well thought out control system and flying about in the power suits is hilarious fun, even if i do die in seconds! On topic, what you have made here is biblical and a miracle of modern engineering. There is one flaw, and that is thanks to the b*****ds at EA, forcing you to use gamespy accounts for online multiplayer. After that first game, gamespy forgot that i had an account so i couldn't log in ever again. Until i fix this i will never be able to play again but at least i had that one precious hour.... Nothing but praise for you guys.

Oh, and we will be able to customise variants in the full version right? Cos that would make this the best mechwarrior game in the world. In fact, it may be the best multiplayer game on PC!

i have to agree with cyberpunk, you have chosen the best engine for this (seeing as the tree destruction is so well done) and do i see a slight rip of the beginning of MW4:V? cos i recognise the "group of mechs walking through a forest in front of a red sunrise overlaid with stastic communication" idea :D it does look cool tho

This is probably the best mod currently in developement to date, and i've picked out only one flaw, and thats that you've omitted the Victor from the list of mechs. Not the end of the world but that mech is cooler than the atlas and definitely rivals the mad cat in cool-o-meter readings ;D

ooh, that'd be cool, a crotch launcher... On another note i would like to see the Victor from MW4:M cos that was my favourite mech

tbh i think the legs are a bit too small, but thats a minor issue, looks good

i feel all moist and warm.. needs more mechs as phoenix85 said. other than that it looks good, the lasers are nice, im glad to see all the vehicles work superbly and i cant wait til i see the full thing. Ive already dusted off my joystick.

reminds me of some moon-based missions from MW4, but in high quality, I'm glad you left some purely mech on mech action, cos you cant beat fights where everyone's even

do u have the whole of microsoft's dev team with u or something? this is amazing work, i hope to see it finished and i hope it doesnt stop in mid production like the many other mods. Will we be seeing a beta? bung together a few mechs and stuff cos this is so good i want to test it NOW

lovin the textures, i think theyre alot better than the old ones (although the walker's gun looks a bit... lame) and all in all a great job, but i cant work out how to get it to work... if i use mod method i get the hud and stuff, but no textures, any suggestions as to how i can get it to work?

character and npc models are great, but i do not like the sniper model much, a simple retexture of the sniper would be better i think. my review: character models + skins = awesome
weapon models and skins = not so good...
gj tho i really want to see the next release, and can u put in the models for walton simons, etc that u have completed for us to review in the next release?
