You don't need a kick *** computer to handle a model that has fingers with over 4 sides.
I'm sure the average rig could handle six or even eight sided fingers these days. Especially on survivors. Four sided fingers on zombies, fine. On the player models? idk.
The particular blood sprite doesn't look that good, but holy **** does this whole thing work.
