Hi Tomrer hope you are doing good. I was just wondering if you could help me with something. In the first version of Jurassic Park, Hunter Legends on the abandoned Ingen Facility (the first version not DLC version) there is a certain Loon ambient call being used, and I have always loved it. Could you please link me to where you found the call ?? Or maybe send me the file? It would be greatly appreciated.

These are nice...would like a more vanilla version that are more faithful to the originals, however.

Can you make the HD skins work in the single player ladder ? all i get is the older textures. You can't use mutators in the single player tournament as far as i know.

Be interesting if this was actually completed, there was quite a lot of hype for it back in the old days. With the progress that has been made with Carnivores modding, this could easily be fully finished.

You guys have created quite possibly the best dinosaur hunting game ever. The game is progressing very well, just a few more model tweaks and cleaned up animations and some more maps and this would be perfect.

I like the mod a lot, buuuut the flare gun is waaaaay too OP now. All you need to do is keep waiting for it to charge and you can kill pretty much most things with one hit.

A great game that is sadly pretty underrated these days because of some issues I will address. First things first, PATCH THIS GAME!!

If you get this game off Steam or even GOG and play it on Windows 10 the game is BROKE!. The stealth aspect of the game is completely broken if you do not patch it. Enemies can spot you instantly, and you can not use anything to hide from them.

You also will not be able to use the HDR graphics either. Once the game is patched everything works as intended and the game works well.

The stealth in this game often gets called broken, but that is simply because people are actually playing a broken game. Once that is out of the way, you will be able to stealth through big chunks of the levels (if you want to) because the stealth works fine.

The game was very very pretty and graphically demanding when it was released back in 2004 and still looks pretty nice even now maxed out with the HDR turned on. Far cry pushed gaming PCs to melting point and was a big turning point for how good games could look on PCs. The levels are very vibrant and detailed. You really do feel like you are moving through a dense jungle at times. This was a big deal because back then there were plenty of games that did jungles, but none quite as good as they were done here in Far cry. Games simply could not render that many trees, and plants but Far cry made it look effortless. I often take screenshots in game because of how beautiful the environments still are. I wanted to post some of my screen shots here but sadly i can not post any unlike other games :(

The water in Far cry is honestly better than some games even released today, it's that beautiful, full of reflections and bubbles and even fish swimming around. The levels are highly detailed full of dense foliage and the levels are open and are pretty large with many different paths for the player to use. All impressive stuff for 2004. Far cry would likely have been the best looking game in 2004 if Doom 3 and Half life 2 did not release that very same year.

This really was Crysis before Crysis. The game is not perfect, however it's very difficult, at times it's even been called one of the most challenging FPS games ever released the last parts of the game will make you want to scream with frustration. The voice acting is pretty bad and the story is very B movie. The AI is pretty good most of the time, but can be iffy at times also.

But when everything works and comes together, it's a really fun game. It's a great feeling to be able to choose how you want to play a level. Want to go in guns blazing? Well you can, you want to use a hang glider or a car or even a boat ? You can or do you wanna play in a stealthy way and get through the whole level undedicated ? Because you can. Or just combine all of this.

There are a lot of weapons in the game, and they are all modelled well and sound great. It's really fun to use the sniper in this game especially when playing in a stealthy way. One of my favourite ways to play is simply using crouch or go into the prone position to move through the bushes and simply pick off the enemies with a silenced machine gun head shoting them before they knew what hit them (you can only do this is the game is fixed and patched)

Please patch the damn game and have a great time playing Crysis before Crysis. Far cry really could use a decent remaster, so it works straight off of Steam and GOG, so people stop playing a broken game.

One of the reasons i love Unreal is the atmosphere :)

It's honestly really well-made. I really enjoy the more open level design, you did a great job. The only bad thing I can really say is It's just too short. I hope you will make more in the future.

Welp it finally happened. Chasm the rift was finally brought back in remastered form for Steam and GOG. And it's a pretty great re-release. Chasm now looks and plays better than it ever has. It runs silky smooth and comes with some other improvements like some new lighting and some remastered sounds and improved gore. Gibbing was always good in Chasm, but now it's the best it ever has been. Chasms game play still holds up well, and it plays just as good as Quake does, the game it's always compared to despite the fact Chasm did not come out the same time as Quake, but it came out after Quake 2 a game it really had no chance of outshining.

With the re-release, you get to see just how well Chasms visuals hold up. For a 1997 game, there is quite a lot of decent texture detail in its levels, and the models all look very good for their time and are well animated. Chasm also has quite a creepy and unsettling atmosphere at times. The only real disappointment I have with the Chasm remaster is there was no real new content here. You get the bonus levels packaged in that were released way back when for the original game, and as a nice bonus you get the original DOS version of the game. But sadly, no new levels were added here.

The Quake remaster from Night dive had some great new levels included, and it would have been great if Chasm had the same. But it's not all bad because Chasm has some great mod map packs and one of the best has been made to be playable with the new remaster and that is cursed land, and you can find that here on Moddb. It's a very well-made bunch of maps that fit in very well with the base game, and it's very easy to set up. So download that, and you have 4 new large maps that can be included for the new Chasm. It would have been nice for some more graphical tweaks like you get with the Turok remasters and the Quake remaster, but I'm not even sure if that stuff was possible for Chasm. It's still great to have Chasm in its most playable state, and now more people can play it also. A huge win.

It's his mod tho he can change things if he wants to and the sky box fits in fine with the level's aesthetic.

This is great and easily could be seen as an official expansion. Thank you for this.
