Judging by the cover is always a must.
Apart from 6 or 7 books I have, most of of the covers have been representative of...well an awesome book lol.
Not true for games though...IMO gta's have **** covers but are awesome games.
As for mods...something titled "LOLEDS W00TZORZ MODDD" with no picture or description = 99% of the time...crap.
On the other hand something titled "Legends of the eternal phoenix fires" with like 100 pics and 6 pages of text...could well as well indeed by rubbish.
Overall I'd say its a gamble really, check it out and judge for your self is what i do :)
Getting harder? Not really. It's just a lot of games don't ship modding tools anymore, or their files are generally "Hands off!!!".
Anything LUA, XML, or C++, or maybe even some other variations of those 3 I can handle :).
I mean the "mods" section not the "news" section lol xD.

Does this (or will this) feature EVERY single vehicle from all 3 games? As I would absolutely love that!! As I always wished i could get the bullet proof securicar from GTA3 or explosion proof, bullet proof car from VC etc.
You know what would be even better? Incoperating all the missions from the 3 games as well, and maybe some new ones too.

I've had a bit of a setback here today folks...i suddenly got s **** load of infections from this...something i downloaded lol. Might of been from this torrent i got as a reserve but, who knows.
So i've had to go into lockdown currently, so RC3 is delayed for another 12 hours or so.
BUT FEAR NOT!
I have managed to get some AWESOME pictures to use as icons for 3 of my "main" upgrades which will feature in RC3, the newly titled "MegaTex™" so to speak :).
Stay tuned a little longer :D.
Guys up where? On the walls? It's not possible. There's no data to suggest that any form of walking on a building can be done. Remember the mechanic is not the foundation for this game.

Good news! I've just got photoshop back so I should be able to start getting the edited icons up and running within the day. I've got a few done now so stay tuned :D
You mean like an RPG based experience system? I guess you could script that in XML. Although as far as those kinds of systems go, I'm more familiar with LUA so, I dunno.
It doesn't really fit into the AOE universe, unit verterency. Because each unit and buildings is carefully designed to have its strengths and weaknesses. Imagine a cannon taking out 5 or 6 anyways every wave, it would rack up ludicrous amounts of power quite quickly...not easily controllable and very unbalancing.
I'm sure it's doable, but its not feasible for AOE I'm afraid. There's already 100's of upgrades that can pretty much resemble in sequence what you want.
This mod primarily focus's on experimenting with new things to do with defence. Of course there are also plenty of "offensive" techs/cards to come soon :).
Only issue now is selecting suitable position on the "choose new cards" menu for my new cards to go.
Next version will feature the 3 main "BIG" upgrades for Asians/natives/euros as a little tester for balance and all that kind of stuff, ready to start with the techs afterwards :)
I still need more feedback on the mod in its current state everyone, thanks again for the support currently though :D

Does anyone have any comments or feedback on the actual mod it self yet? I need your feedback :).
Now that I think about it...it could be possible. I think all that needs doing is some sort of entry flag and exit flag, garrison and un-garrison.
I don't know if you would be able to get every unit garrisoned to fire individually...but I could make it so, the more units garrisoned = more attack (like the town centre) and the more units garrisoned = faster fire rate.
I shall put it on my list for some experimentation. Thanks once again :D. No problem about your English, I'm not much better my self at time hehe :P

What the..the rating bar has disappeared again. Hmm maybe it's so I can't rate my own mod, can you guys still see it?
Anywho none the less.
The whole increasing the max cards for TAD mite be a problem, it looks as if TAD "may" of hard coded it this time around. I'm aware of the mod for AOE3 but since then its all changed. there's a work around but it involves a lot a ballsing around and wont benefit you guys anyway.
So instead, I've increased the rates in which you take to get 25 cards. So now when you've got a level 40 or 50 HC you'll have the maximum /25 cards.
Sorry about this but I've got new ideas so don't worry :)
Cut scenes & HL? They don't go together well, HL has never had cut scenes so it wouldn't be wise to take the player out or away from the action at any time.
Its why HL has always been so famous, the whole idea of really taking "First Person" to that new edge :).
