But... Why would you capture infected?
Mod is very nice so far. Haven't played it really at all, just started it up and looked around. I love that you have made an accurate Star Wars galaxy map, though I do wish Sins let you pick a start planet.
One thing is, for me, I don't particularly like the UI. Too much White, maybe, at least for the Empire. Haven't tried New Republic yet. I also prefer the default view of the planet when icon when you zoom out, rather than the symbol that's there currently. But, that's all subjective, and really not that important.
Just the Mu Scout looked amazing and beautiful. Can't wait to play more.
I never knew cats were so knowledgeable about world history.
Holy ****.
This sounds utterly amazing. Im very much looking forward to this.
Huh.
Odd.
Uhh... Quick question, was I supposed... To be able to play this without buying the game?
*Clears throat*
Hmmm... Feesty? Care to weigh in on this?
On the one hand, Im excited because bandits will be great!
On the other hand, I am sad because now it will take even LONGER for the mod to come out! D:
"Something wicked this way comes..."
Hmm...
Is that not a feature of CoH2?
I was imagining a port of ZombieMod to that game.
Im imagining it now.
Tricking a massive horde of Zeds into following my scout over the frozen river, and then driving a truck onto it when they all pile up...
Actually, that would be a horrible idea. Fighting the zombies with snorkels and spears in a freezing river would be MUCH worse than fighting them with guns...
It's clearly an April Fools day joke, guys.
"To try to get back into our routine of monthly updates..."
See?
:P
"I've done my research" Oh? Pray tell, what is this 'Research'?
Pictures, videos, and the written statement of The Indie Stone aren't enough to show you that there's progress? Do you think ALL Indie games are scams until they come out?
Patience is a virtue.
Yes. They are making a game. You expect them to do something when there's no reason at all for you to expect it.
You did not pay for a game. You paid for a demo, and the promise of a game later. They're making progress. Do you expect them to just magically have a game when they snap their fingers? They did not promise to release new updates constantly.
It's been a year since the update, and in that time, this TINY, INDEPENDENT, (And I cannot stress that enough) studio had a ridiculously bumpy development, and honestly, Im surprised they're still making such good progress!
A game this in-depth doesn't get made in a month. Especially not after having to start over completely half way through development.
You know what the worst thing is?
When the update is actually released, none of these people saying "SCAM" are actually going to apologize. They're just going to say something like "Oh, well, about time!" or "Took you long enough!"
I swear, this fan base is almost as entitled as the one for Total War...
Oh, that is quite interesting. I certainly didn't mean you should make a vehicle builder, or anything. I just wondered why I'd never seen one.
That's great to hear, about the tents! I never find a real use for healing structures around the base, since I tend to make strong points far away from the HQ, so this is very welcome news.
No, no, I mean, can you make a vehicle be a builder unit?
I saw the forklift, and it made me wonder why no one has ever made a vehicle unit (Like, a forklift) be the builder, for a faction. And, so, I supposed it was impossible.
And *Facehoof*
I completely forgot about the tents being for healing. Great! I love that they are buildable! Can they be built anywhere, or only in the HQ sector?
This just gave me an idea.
Is it possible to make a vehicle build? XD
Also, what are the tents? Are they just decoration?
Oooh, really nice lights.
I've been watching your little project for about a year or two now, and I must say... This is one of, if not the most promising game on this website.
I have not played it (I prefer to wait until a few more features are fleshed out, first) but it looks simply amazing.
I very much look forward to your future work.
Yay!
Happy Birthday, ZM. I've watched you guys from the start, and I must say, your progress in amazing!
Keep up the great work, gentlemen!
Ahhhhhhh, ok. Thanks!
Although, to be perfectly honest, a picket fence with plywood tacked on is probably LESS sturdy than a line of sandbags... XD
Ahh, ok, I see.
That's good.
Although, another quick qeustion, what is the use of sandbags, if you have these? These block movement, I assume, and so do sandbags, but I imagine these are much more powerful. I suppose you could build sandbags in tighter places...
Oh that makes it even better!
So, is it a universal upgrade, or is it tied to the survivor doctrine?
Yes!
I really like this! This is exactly the type of thing I was imagining. So, is this something that only the civilian builders can construct?
After we ate, we all moved, and sounded like zombies.
"Ughhhhhhh"
That would make overwhelming assualts more powerful, but it also might make barbed wire a little useless, unless you added a delay for it breaking. Perhaps when there's more than one squad of zombies, they'll start damaging the barbed wire.
That could also be what you're talking about, so I suppose my point would be moot. XD
Im very excited to see this much progress being done. I've been watching this for years.
