There is a difference between stupid bug like floating tree and gamebreaking bug that you encounter in everygame. It was like nobody even bother to testrun it once. And btw waiting does kill you....slowly but steadily :)

You must buy the downloader USB from the barkeep (the green USB). Then go back. Save game :). Use the green USB in your inventory, turn on the computer and download it (use it just before doing it cos saving/loading might forget about the activated USB). Then go enjoy the trip through the mines (dont forget to pick up all 5 documents for Petrenko). Havent found use for the USB from Veles yet (Sin leader). Btw, yeah I was scared down there too :D
Well the saves are compatible after all, but every unnoficial fix/tweak had to be removed first (good think I make backups). Got a weird bug with some cars. They got their side passenger (and trunk) doors weirdly rotarded (kinda looks like small wings :)). Noticed on darkscape uaz and sudan (not the tractor though :P)

I would love to explore "the lost" zone. Make it possible please (No bone and no foot pos are killing the game for me no matter what). I stopped shortly after freeing Fox due to extreme instability.

Every stalker who is not Arnold, yet planned longer raid, surely wont carry all his ammo around all the time. Especially heavier ammunition like 7.62. (Each mag (usually 20 bul.)weights almost 1kg)
Thinking you can make everything perfect in the first release is silly. Id more appreciate buggy (but playable) LA in a near future than polished version in 3 years. Dont forget you can always patch later. Look at Bethesda :D

You still dont get it :). Armor doesnt really matter in the game :). In the real tough fights you can get one shotted one naded anyway. Im just pointing out that it is weird the best survivalists in the zone are using overpriced equipment which gives them (almost) no advantage...just makes them bigger targets. Also it is less fun knowing I cant really find anything better once I wear...say wind of freedom suit (which can be found very early). And yes, using automatic shotgun as sidearm really is stupid. Heavy, bad manoeuvrability, quite heavy ammunition as well. And one last thing is missing - stealth. Stalkers have x-ray vision actually and are shooting through walls a lot.
Ofc they are less efficient but...you know I want fancy sidearm (running around with minigun and autoshotgun is kinda too much rambo). Ad stability: I know, you did great job. But for example when doubleclicking mine detector to add it into already full belt I've encountered few imo unnecessary CTDs. The point with exo is: Why expert stalkers use them when they offer no real advantage and are indead very expensive and difficult to maintain? (and btw even with 80% bullet protection you can get oneshotted same with the frags) Thx for the tip with the vodka, I really didnt think of it although they recommend it during horror time:). Yep, nades are great against every strong mutant. Laying mines with no obvious reason feels like cheating.
You must unpack the gamedata.dbe.(you can google few tools to do that) Edit gamedata/config/weapons/grenade_m2.ltx (its pretty self explanatory, experiment a little) and copy this one file into the gamedata/config/weapons in the stalker directory. Should do the trick. Hope authors of the mod won't mind :-/. This changes the hand grenades which are pretty OP (I assumed you wanted to change those)
Ok after playing for quite some time Im convinced that this is the BEST stalker mod out there (probably only Lost Alpha can change that) so congratulation is in order I guess :). I will skip the praising part and complain a little bit. Stability isnt 100% but it is sufficient to play it without serious CTD issues. Pistols/sidearms are really missing in the game (Perhaps you have your reasons for it). Would be great if I could bind shotgun and sniper rifle at the same time. Exoskeletons are too weak/fragile (or the other armors too strong? Anyway right now there is no use for exos). Companions cant transfer though maps with hero. That early zombification which seriously cripples the game (pretty much force ppl to cheat which is ruining the game so much). Great mod though, many thanks.
