Hello my friends. There are many phrases to describe me...cynic, adolescant, self-proclaimed creative genius, sci-fi/Half Life head, student, Chazzer. But most esteemed aquaintences, you may mearely call me, The Gentleman.
Doctor Who AND the release of Titan XCIX?! Who can put **** to the yes!
May I ask, is this built on the Orange Box engine or original Half Life 2 source?
Is the co-op gonna be online? With AI for singleplayer.
Are these models or brushes?
I love it, it's atmospheric and kind of abstract in the way the fog and the light plays on everything.
Honestly, you have a great premise, some great backstory to the whole thing, you've got some solid character framework, gorgeous maps and some fantastic media. Is there anything about this mod that isn't to like?!
Took the words right out of my mouth! ^ ^
At first I didn't have very high hopes for this mod, but now I think this might turn out to be something rather good.
I actually have a fondness for the original citizen models. Plus the fact that these reskins look awesome!
I quite literally gasped with joy seeing an update to this mod!
Sorry to sound obnoxious but can we expect any announcements on Part 3 anytime soon?
I think the walking animations for Laura should be reworked, it doesn't seem to suit her age, being a young child and all she wouldn't walk like James, a fully grown man would. Other than that it looks like this is growing into something that looks quite polished. Though you'd have to justify why Laura is seeing the otherworld version of the place (as I described in my other comment).
So does something happen in the story that enables Laura to see the horrors of Silent Hill, because in Silent Hill 2 it's strongly implied the hospital that James sees is vastly different and more dangerous than the hospital Laura sees.
Is this a new animation for the 357?
If only I had Unreal Tornament. This mod looks awesome!
I loved this mod so much (The Citizen 1 and 2) I decided to create my own series in it (don't know if you guys have heard of Freemans Mind, Shephards Mind, ect). Well since October I've been doing "The Citizens Mind". Whether it's any good I'll leave you to be the judge of that (still wondering how I got to 30 subscribers XD). I just thought you guys might like to know that and I hope you take it as a compliment to the wonderful job you did on this series.
I really can't wait for this mod, I think this is shaping up to be one of the best sci-fi source mods. Also the music from the trailer reminded me fondly of that of Serenity which is a very nice touch.
With the Demons vs Humans team at the reigns, we can be confident this is in good hands!
What did you use to create this music piece?
Although to some extent I agree with you, I've seen some amazing things done with the goldsource engine. I don't really see anything wrong with using these engines but it's good to make an effort to manipulate them. Check out Cry of Fear for a prime example.
I suddenly feel so proud to be Portsmouthian.
Hello, I had an idea for a machinima music video with your mod. I had two questions:
1) Are you alright with me using materials from your mod to do such a thing?
2) If I import the maps into Garrys Mod, how easy are they to work with? (inside technical information)
Reservoir Dogs comes to mind.
"Kill anyone on the way here?"
"No real people then?"
Ahoy from Portsmouth!
And...well, I guess my bussiness is done here for now.
Hell frikkin' yes!
A definate progression from two excellent mods. Looking at the media I'd say it's another mod to look forward to.
Supremely well done. I've been really hyped for the full sequel ever since I played the first. Even more so now that I've played the demo. The puzzles were challenging and there was a couple of unnerving moments like the piano music on the radio. But my only problem would be the petrol can puzzles. Searching through about 25 cans got quite irritating after a while. As stated above, I think reducing it to 7-9 will help improve the pace of the gameplay.
After I have destroyed the Osprey nothing else happens and I cannot see a way out of the area. Is this a bug or am I simply missing something?
That's just even more suprising!
Seriously, I never played silent Hill, but this is just unreal! Great work!
He probably meant to say Half Life: Source.
