A suggestion ; At the western parts of central asia, there were Kangly and Turgesh tribes, vassals of Turkic Khaganate. You can add Turgesh Orda and Kangly Orda as settlements and from these settlemens player can recruit their spesific units.
Also, please recheck the settlements, many of them sound very inaccurate and modern.
I hope you can present a historically accurate Turkic Khaganate. They are rarely depicted in games. Khagan would be a more accurate choice then Khan btw.
Its observed that game tend to crash if too many giant units are present in battle.
Dont expect it today. it will be likely in sunday. It would be released days ago if it wasnt for those pesky new bugs keep appearing through the play testing.

Ottomans has so many obscure items. Seljuk hats, crusades era helmets, outdated lamellar etc.
Troop trees can be reworked as well.
For example
-Voynuk Cavalry(light lancers, christian small fief holders)
Balkan Peasant
-Martolos Archers(light archers)
-Martolos Auxiliaries(unarmored axemen,Christian frontiersmen)
-Martolos Infantry(lightly armored axemen)
-Azab Archers(light archers) -Frontier Azab Archers(Light armo)
Muslim Peasant(Avaiavable at southernmost villages)
-Yaya Spearmen(light spearmen)
I can do the town and castle recruitment as well.

I didnt mean adding east asia. My suggestion was removing Europe and focusing on middle east and west asia.
If I was you I would focus on middle east and asia. With a map this big you cant detail all the factions and regions and balancing will be a nightmare.
I would just cut off most of Europe. Russia, Greece and Ottoman Rumelia would be the border. Anyone who wants to play as uniformed European faction would play with British India, Russia or Greece.
Think about this.

Started in Shimazu and joined great lord as a retainer. In battles opposing armies come close to each other but stop at a certain distance. Skirmishers shoot but nobody charges. They just stand there even after all ammunution and arrows are used.

Forsaken are not playable on campaign though :p They emerge later if the conditions are met.
Btw shouldnt the ordinary Elven rangers look less ornamented? I see that you guys based it on Sylvanas but she wasnt an ordinary ranger after all, she was their leader. It also contradicts their purpose of being agile and stealthy.

I hope the boss level units are not going to be spammed in campaign. They should be costly and rare. Pit lords, dreadlords, eredars. Same for other factions.

How is the working pace of single player? You guys think development is going fast? Are you still taking the early steps or already have visible results?
Guess you are right, they have Dark Irons and Stormwind as neighbours, their starting position is bad enough. One last question, i know that trolls got new bodies, but do they share the same body or forest and ice trolls are bulkier?
Was it the red or black by that time period? Or both? Dark Horde has a great roster, they are pretty much the old horde of warcraft 2 but since they had very limited numbers are you planning to somewhat restrict them? Like purposely handicapped economy, or limited recruitment.
What about dragon fellas? Will there be dragons, dragonspawns? A dragon faction(Wrymrest Accord) would be very unique but unlikely I know. I'm ok with having them in just custom battle and as rebels.
Stuff about Dalaran, Kul Tiras etc. made me think about different cultures/races/political entities in each faction. For example there are trolls and tauren in the horde, but since its one faction, you will end up having troll characters carrying orc names and traits, tauren characters carrying troll names and traits. Europa Barbarorum has a system where you can recruit a local ethnic general with his own traits and local name from a building, may be such a thing can be made but there a lot of priorities before that.
Oh I thought Elves looked pretty sweet. Must be looking sweeter now. What about strat map characters?
