Saye is a young Twi'lek female who has lived her life in slavery. From a young age, she was fascinated by machinary, partly due to her parents job as both mechanics and pilots. Her father became a smuggler, working for the Hutts, and after a failed job resulting in his death, Saye and her mother became slaves. Saye's mother died very early on, raped and killed by a gang of thugs working for the Hutt. Saye, however, was protected from harm due to her extensive knowledge of machines, droids and ships.

For years she repaired, flew and created for the Hutt. However, during a Galactic Alliance raid on the Hutts stronghold, Saye saw an oppurtunity for freedom and took it. She crept into the hanger whilst all the fighting took place, and onto the Umbris. Before she she could take off, however, she was attacked by Master Fai. Realising she was a slave, Fai stopped and told her to wait here. Then the Hutts attacked.

Mercenaries outside, armed with heavy weapons, started to fire on the Umbris. Saye started up the engined, took off, and fired missles into the hanger, killing most of the thugs. She then got into a dogfight outside, aiding Galactic Alliance forces. Impressed with her abilities, Fai offered her a job in the Galactic Alliance, and she accepted.

However, she never would get her job. The order was given to kill all Jedi, and luckily for Fai, most of the clones were dead or wounded. After Fai got back from his trip to Coruscant, Saye asked if she could stay with him, and Fai agreed, knowing that his flying skills were poor and that he'd need an extra pair of hands.

Saye is an experianced mechanic, pilot and all around techie. Master Fai has been teaching her how to fight with both a vibro sword and blaster pistol and also showing her valuable unarmed techniques and how to get out of numerous sticky situations. Her valuable skills have helped the duo get out of trouble on more than one occaison, using her charm and beauty to her advantage.
