i was always as intrigued as i was confused by the game.
I was only able to play with others two times but and sad to never experience the potential it had and master properly master it's techniques with other players.
The music in the Prototype 4 Gameplay vid was also awesome, watched it often just to hear it synchronized with the abstract visuals of the game.
what the happened to atmospheric racinggames anyway?
The physics and AI were dodgy. But the feeling of driving through a lonely desert blasting 70's prog heavymetal and hours of psychedelic solos while entering a thunderstorm in a souped up musclecar was well worth the time i put into it.
it looks so good i could eat it
I'm getting a halflife feel from it mixed with some DooM like synthguitar influences! great
Nice to see a character that isn't Colonel mc gruffballs
love to see some 3d
Ist that an ironsight, screwed unto the side of the ironsight?
Time to get sick nasty
Is that frank cotton from hellraiser?
that is one rowdy looking shotgun
it reminds me of the first time i fired the shotgun in HL: Blue-Shift and almost creaming myself, dat sound
Although not necessarily a moodkiller, i agree the rocketlauncher is in a rather unrealistic position that will be impossible to be fired properly without looking weird.
Instead of putting it on the fragile looking stick at head hight, you might want to consider putting it at the same height the rocketlauncher is positioned for a more stabile look.
there's candy in here
Very clear clues and lighting where to go, without being over the top in your face breaking the atmosphere. Very good
very clear and structurized artwork
i can already see myself running around immersing into the world
I don't play against humans alot, but when i tried this mod out the first time this gun turned into months of fun of "mines everywhere VS. Bots: The game".
It didn't felt very satisfying playing with the ballistics mutator on Invasion, But i'm sure the various mines, tripmines, timed mines, mounted chainguns etc would make for an awesome wave-based/objective-based gamemode.
Thanks for all the fun guys.
like them alot, very understated yet enough detail to make it interesting
very nice looking,
(would be funny though if he scolded you abit more about being such a horrendous failure of a waterboy)
the first three pictures have hooked my interest on this
03 04 and athe entire second row are my favs.
The fading into the ambiance "pointy" fingers are a very nice touch
I don't like bloom if it's overdone in a realism based game, but with the dark atmosphere in the game it seems fitting that the lightsources seem almost otherworldly bright.
i'm not a huge swordsman expert, but i just noticed the padding is on his right arm, but wouldn't it be more effective it it were on the left side of his body when righthanded?
the art on the walls is nice! good to see some interesting stuff on the otherwise repetative brick walls
i love the feeling of space
looks scary as ****
i can almost feel the weight, great job!
it took me like a minute to see the combine you were whooting at.
Scrubs gonna scrub i guess
realistic or not,
I really like it and it looks aestheticly pleasing!
tbh i'm not the biggest fan of katherine's voice, it seems a bit unnatural at times. Sometimes i can feel the emotion very clear and sometimes it sounds too "read from the script\". Maybe it's the pacing, and the fact that the Mentor is supposed to sound more unnatural makes for a strange contrast balance between the two in the conversation shown. Still alot better than most mods though and you guys have my full support as an eager follower.
i played alot of racinggames since the n64 era
besides f-zero i barely play them anymore so i love how this is working out
the chrystal palace arts fair?
according to the sketch you made over the screenshot the stalls look a bit big in comparison, wich may distract from the more humble and scrapped together huts and stalls barters might put together in the desertlike environment.
If you'd made them alot more cramped and small(especially with the sunscreens on top) wich was probably the idea of the sketch, there might be severe camera issues.
if these stalls will be actually interactable to buy weapons or something a guided camera that lowers under the sunscreens might help?
I'm probably just kicking in open doors, but still :/
love it severily so far
