I'm not really a modder, I can't program, I'm just learning at 3D drawing and no one search only someone who can just give ideas about plot and gameplay, that is something which I'm sure I can do.
How come the Paintball gun only has 20 projectiles and one can't even add more?
Nevermind I fixed it by reinstalling the game on my SSD. Thanks for the answer.
Can one play coop with people but also allied AI?
Also, do you happen to know if apart from removing swat.ini is there a way to solve the Freezing?
You have been tremendously helpful and informative, thank you, about the AA, I had to use the SMAA injector because the Nvidia control panel would not work (not the mod's fault cause it does not work on Sketchov syndacate), but the injector makes the game crash.
I had to because my control panel was not doing it, but nevermind that, I am really enjoying the mod so far and have just started it, thank you for putting so much work on such a old game.
I just wonder, how is difficulty set if one is hosting a game, and what affects wether a door has a "trap" on it.
Finally, once the voice commands are activated, is one just supposed to say on the mike the command as it is written?
Yesterday I notice a guy shooting me through a metal door, but some shots ricocheted and wounded him, nice touch.
Unlike when I had ingame crashes, no cause was given, I start it, I see the swat4 splashscreen (standard one), it flashes, the mouse pointer changes as usual and it crashes with the usual Windows "blablabla has stopped working". Unless the game creates a crash log. I am going to uninstall SWAT, reinstall through the GOG installer and reinstall Swat Elite Mod.
Done, it starts, I don't get it, will see if it works, what I had changed were 3 things:
1) Injected SMAA through an injector.
2) Changed the SwatGame.int. file to add my resolution (1360x768)
3) Added the maps from the mega map pack (but not the mods)
I have the GOG version of SWAT 4, I simply dragged and dropped the SEF mod, then put the patch, and if I start it, it crashes.
I think dead cities never got their proper treatment in Stalker, mostly in terms of how the AI navigates inside their buildings.
If this is half as good as it sounds, you guys you should either join GSC after they are done with Cossack 3 or make your own game.
This is marvelous, incredible, if it really works as we all hope it does is like an entirely new game, I hope you guys may one day stick together for a commercial release of something of your own, heck GSC has restarted maybe you could find a job there for Stalker 2.
Put the ammo in your belt.
read "most common problem" upper left of this page, it should answer.
Yes LA has a gamedata folder already but it contains a fraction of all files, contained within the usual database files.
Looking at the various solutions for the most common bugs people are having I assembled an humble FAQ here Pastebin.com
Just search for Lost alpha (CTRL+F) it should weed out some problems. I am not quite sure what to add more than this for now.
Gearbox simply polished it, is not their fault the weapon wheel was removed, or the game was crap, it was 3D Realms.
"friendly fire is finally fixed"
What do you mean? What changed? It seemed to work fine.
In the "Church", seems like not every object was done, I think the game somehow thought that not everyone was dead, it can happen that someone will remain as an invisible enemy to hit, useful for extra points, a problem if it happens in front of door, so far everything has been solved by Noclip.
I cant download the file.
Rust on plastic? The Zone is a WACK of a hell.
It seems to give a green vibe well enough, or maybe I am imagining things.
Very nic, but I wonder, did you raise the Brightness so that you could show off the textures better?
It always needs more DAKKA, but I like it a very good alternative to Arsenal, since it wont break your AMK.
As long as the sun will keep shining, I wont mind these black tones and now he looks more "serious" and "sharp" looking.
it looks, of a darker mood, what a huge work.
you are so fast and they are so good.
Wonder for the tired of eyes of someone accustomed with the texture of today.
Yes Warner I am sure if you are going to act like this on a free project this will make me want to buy more of your products, what could possibly go wrong?
The Gmod menu layout might be of good inspiration just in case.
It was a spoken thought as infact I said, if RPS was right which I wasnt sure if it was, and a developer not retaining control over his own Engine, well that's quite a strange thing. A thought that some didnt like I see, o well.
This looks interesting, but the real funny thing, if RPS was right, is how supposedly members from DICE made this, the same DICE that negated mod support for a sequel of a game made and born thanks to modders.
Are you going to make it dirty Stalker style?
