Hello to ACWDevelopment Team.
I been reading some posts on TWC, and I find a bit unfair towards the great work and to Trig. I personally think this was one hell of a great game. Even in the 3.5 version. I Also see a great perscurser to other developments with this game. Unfortunate I can't post my thoughts on TWC for i have no posting rights as a member,I have also some Ideas I,d like to express. I see the level of professionalism in this game and I understand it takes time to make something worth spending hours on. With that Keep up the great work Trig.

Hey, mate.. I been playing with it. I too been crashing, besides the crashes I think its better than darthmod. My fix is to just do a simple reinstall. But start it from the ETW launch., once you clicked the choices on EOD.

Correction, I manage to actually play. By reinstalling the mod, over it. Weird why it now works?

Great looking mod... played a few times... but at returning to play it crashes.. only way to fix this to continue a saved a game is to reinstall the mod over again, and again. And sometimes in a middle of a tough battle, my computer F crashes. This sucks donkey balls.

THou I haven't downloaded your game, yet. But will once I finish my ACW.
I got a question, and its a minor thing. Will the correct flags will be represented, like those of Spain, Imperial eagle, and burgundy cross?

WHy so? What does Netherlands got to do with the Americans entering WW1? Netherlands was a neutral country in that time doing business with GB and Germany and Belgian and France. Until GB blockaded their merchant fleet. Then that's when Germany declared all on war with submarines all merchant fleets from the Atlantic to the Pacific.

Okay.. so they don't have america as map. But just scenario maps I guess. Are they the same modders for this mod? Or just another group.

I would like to post on TWCenter.net unfortunately I don't have acccess to post comments. Why? I don't know. Even if I have sign up TWC. I personally encourage you modders programmers of the amazing work so far. But I dislike the word Impossible. :)I wish I was a modder.. myself to actually do some modding. :) Maybe if I'd go back to school and study computer programming.

Impossible... I a word I don't understand. I know there are some modders doing some reverse engineering in getting some of the Shogun 2 ships and converting them to pre-dreadnought ships. Moving turrets and so on. Now for the option of doing permanent trenches.. as a map, where ever one decides to build a fort=trenches. Maybe it is an idea.

So far.. i been seeing beautiful work on this mod, Unfortunately there are a few things missing. VEry important the naval battles. (1) Navies are important especially the early dreadnoughts of that time, (2) the option to build permanent trenches on the campaign map. The same way ETW had forts built, so can trenches be built by Generals. (3) unfortunately it only uses the NTW map. It would of been great if it had the world map.

I tried, posting TWC/tech. I just don't seem to have access to post questions. Even if I have signed up.

Hello to the Modders, as so far this mod looks amazing.. still missing some stuff, like naval units, and permanent trenches. Like in the version of Empire total war, the generals had the option of building forts why doesn`t this mod allow the generals the option to build trench systems? Just an idea.

Hello :) Having great fun with this mod. Only one minor thing, I noticed they are missing the ammo catrigde box on the right hip. I hope the modders didn't forget to add it.

Thanks Sir.. Sorry to ask so many questions.. It seems I don't have access to comment in TWC. Btw, I have moved many ACW files out on another folder, but didn't take note where they belonged. So I have the [ACW] folder and the [Data] folder where would they fall in the empire files?

Btw Mexico while i was playing rebelled, which indeed happened, they killed poor Maximilian I, and became the a republican state. little history there.

In November 1861 tensions escalated between Washington and London when an American warship stopped the British mail ship RMS Trent on the high seas and seized two Confederate diplomats. London demanded their return and an apology, and to signal its intention to defend its possessions sent 14,000 combat troops to Canada, while the colonials planned to raise 40,000 militia. The crisis ended when President Abraham Lincoln released the diplomats; he did not issue an apology. The British decided that colonial union was now a high priority, as it would relieve London of the need to defend Canada.

Secondly Montreal was called Little Richmond of the north, because it became the capital spy hub for the south. Also the St. Albans Raid. Montreal was used as the secret base for a team of Confederates attempting to launch covert and intelligence operations from Canada against the United States. To finance their cause in October 1864, they robbed three banks in St. Albans, Vermont, killed a citizen, and escaped back across the border with $170,000. They were pursued by Union forces over the Canadian border, creating a diplomatic incident. The Canadians then arrested the Confederate raiders, but the judge ruled the raid was an authorized Confederate government operation and not a felony which would permit extradition via the Webster-Ashburton Treaty.

Later on Lincoln, will put a blind eye for the ex-union soldiers for building of the Irish Republican Army to attack Canada, call so the Fenian Raids. Because of these raids, Canada became a Confederation, and the creation of the British North America Act 1867 was installed to counter balance power.peace, order, and good government. This was a collectivist antithesis to American individualism that became central to Canadian identity. Thats why we are GREAT!

Hello ACWDevelopmentTeam. After many unsuccessful events in downloading the 3.5 version, I had to resign to go back to play Empire vanilla, but that stopped working. But surprisingly I managed to work the 3.5 version. Finally having steamships navigating the coasts of Northern coasts and doing havock and destruction. But being stuck in finding a solution in why Empire stopped working, I had to delete all Empire Total War files and move ACW files else where. So now I have downloaded again ETW and that works fine. I'd like to know if the new ACW version make the ETW original game not work. And if yes, then Id like to know. For now I'm a bit afraid, to screw things up again.

Secondly the rulers of some nations are wrong in the game, Queen Victoria for UK, Maximilian I, for Mexico and puppet of Napoleon III of France. Queen Isabella II of Spain, to mention a few. I'd like if these nations would be more present to help or hinder the States. Also if time and efforts permits, to be able to play the minor factions too. :) That would be great fun.

I had the same problem... I installed the 3.5 but it only seems to work as 3.4.1 version... and after many attempts I only managed to break down the Empire original version. I now just able to play ACW... and not the Empire vanilla, even if I click on vanilla ready. WHY??

Hi... I too downloaded the 3.5 but it seems It still plays in 3.4.1 mod... Have you figured it out at the end? to make it work?

Hi again, :) but I'm sorry to say it still says 3.4.1-3
I seem to do as told while it extracts.. I downloaded ZoR_Setup.7z. And the rest seems easy. So I don't know if I been doing something not kosher.
