We decided to trade shields for extra armor. Someone on the budget comity thought it would be more cost effective.
I know what you mean. The Covenant scout ship just doesn't seam to fit with the other Covenant ships.
Words can not describe what I am seeing right now.
I must say the balance seams perfect. unless you have a combat dedicated capital ship, it generally takes two to three ships to take out a covenant ship.
I have noted though that once you have researched all health and armor bonuses the UNSC take way fewer loses. Then throw in a good assortment of Cap ships with their buffs and fights with the Covenant become far more even.
However there is one thing I noted that I really like. Because the battles are much faster than the original sins. They are far less chaotic and it is much easier to see what the hell is going on and direct groups of ships to different parts of the battle field as needed.
This also might have something to do with the fact I have fewer frigates and far more Cap ships than I did in the stock game and thus it seams less clutter.
Is anyone out there playing online games? The AI is okay but I really want to see how well the UNSC dose against a competent opponent.
Well I just want to tell you all how much I enjoy this mod. I had just finished boot camp and then had to go to combat training when the entrenchment version was released. So I didn't get to really mes with it. Then when I sent to where I am now stationed, I didn't have entrenchment on my laptop. But now with this release I have finely seen what you have been working on all those years, and believe me it was worth the wait.
Maybe but its a very very thin line.
I was expecting a little more purple. But I can see why you may have gone this way for team color purposes.
Well if you can tell us how we may forgive you.
So is there a possibility the repaired version could be ready by Sunday?
Ya it is easy for you. I have flowed this mod for several years. Now I have to leave Monday and I wont be back for three months. It is very disappointing that I don't get to try this out before I leave.
Drat I leave this coming Monday for basic training and I will be gone for three months. I was hoping I could play this before I left.
Okay I am using the 1.053 version because I have the Impulse version of Entrenchment. However every time I try and start it up it mini-dumps on me. Dose some one know what to do about it?
Okay I am on the edge of my seed ready to play this thing, but every time I start up Entrenchment it mini-dumps on me.
I believe this is a countdown to something. Not sure what, but I am sure it will be good.
A heavily armed and armored woman.
Congratulations guys you earned it.
This looks great. Amazing work guys.
I know it shouldn't have pulse lasers. But if you look closely at the shot you will see what appears to be two laser bolts. I was just wondering if they were actually lasers or if they were something ells.
Is it firing pulse lasers?
Wow hold on I am in no way implying I could do a better job than you. I made a mistake okay its been a wile since I read the books.
This model looks very good and should be amazing when textured. I will reserve any further judgment until that time.
I am sorry I forgot about the manta ray description. Its been a wile sense I read the books.
At this angle it looks less like a Longsword and more like a stingray. However that is only a small improvement. When I think off a Covenant ship I think of whales or sharks. Not something with large wings.
Ya wen I first saw this I thought Longsword. Nice job guys, but this doesn't really say Covenant.
This thing looks like it will chew the Covenant up and spit them out.
The Covenant better be careful. This pretty lady is likely to beet the crap out of any one who messes with her smaller cousins.
Very nice. She looks like she could rip-apart any thing the Covenant could throw at her.
Ya I was there.
Oh my eyes they can't take that much awesomeness all at once.
I don't think there should be lots of Normandy SR2's running around. The Normandy SR1 was incredibly expensive and I would imagine the SR2 cost even more.
It would make sense if the SR1 and SR2 cost a lot more than the other frigates, thus limiting there numbers. Or you could classify them as cap ships which would also help limit there numbers as you could only build so many even if you used all you cap ship slots to build SR1's and SR2's.
Also are all SR2's going to have Thanix cannons, or just the Normandy? Because if all SR2's have Thanix cannons that is going to give Cerberus an unfair advantage.
