It's a cool design. Reminds me of a cross between a Vector smg, G2A2 from FEAR and SBP500 from timesplitters Future Perfect.

Thank you for this, it's good to see attempts to try and go beyond rehashing the main stories over and go completely open ended on how to play. I'll probably go duty first then free stalker, monolith sounds like it might actually be harder to play than the other factions, with every other faction trying to kill you (but perhaps, easiest to get good gear)
A few questions!
-Yup, every area there in the map XD But curious, how will Pripyat be handled? Will the SoC Pripyat be "Pripyat West" and CoP Pripyat be "Pripyat East"? Or is it merged as one map?
-Cut content put back in as a main feature? (slow zombies, cats, vehicles, etc)
-without additional mods, going to be vanilla CoP difficulty or modified a bit? Just wondering, im actually fond of the Rebirth style A.I.

Hey I was wondering if i can switch languages? I know the English voices aren't "good" but I find them much more endearing XD I thought there was a way to switch localization somewhere in the files.

With all 3 games areas put together I was just curious if old factions who haunted areas from the earlier games would be the same, and if the system from Clear Sky would be back at all (or the factions from there).
I'm using 2.1, yes. I forgot to mention I am playing the vanilla SoC storyline, not playing Autumn Trails (yet). I can try again today and see what happens.
Well I did some more of it today, and apparently I can only have two or three quests active at a given time, else the game crashes (any save made with 4 quests or sometimes 3 quests will crash, or when going to next area).
A pickle because there are always 2 story quests active at once, so there's really not much room for anything else. Is there any planned fix so this isn't so restrictive? Other than this glaring bug, everything else about the mod is pretty awesome. If there was level warp I'd probably just warp through to the story areas real quick so I could get those tasks out of my PDA.
Have you guys worked out how factions will work?
Yantar is still VERY unstable, I lost almost all my saves as 3 of them corrupted in that area, luckily i had a backup. It seems doing tasks in succession for the professor destroys the save files. I thought it was only if you had many tasks all at once that it killed the saves?
Alright, good enough for me XD I started it, seems pretty fine so far :) And thank you for balancing the wildlife to not be bullet sponges like so many mods tend to do.
How hard is this mod? I've played a couple difficult one's before but I'm not sure if this is here to cater to super hardcore players specifically.

I'd like to try the new version whenever it's out, though my main problem with realism mods is the A.I still have robot tendencies so I shy away from most of them (shot with an AK through several layers of brush at a large distance consistently is annoying).
Just in case you need to shoot it 4 times in the face all at once.

But yeah this is wondefully spooky and the atmosphere is so thick you could cut it with a knife and bleed maggots everywhere.
I'm curious, what's the poly count on these models? These look like something you'd see for a high budget CGI film, not a mod for an old game XD

I need to settle for static lighting, anything higher and the skybox becomes white and everything becomes intensely bright and lacks color. I've had the same problem with LURK, I dunno how to fix it. I can tell my FPS even on these medium settings is still juttery, as my aiming is laggy, Can't play until it feels like my aiming is not drunk. XD
Also, game has crashed in game. "Engine error. Last line in stack trace:"
I guess I'll have to wait a few patches before this game is stable for me. Oh well. And for the record, no, I am not saving to a programs file folder.
Game crashes to desktop. But I'm not getting any error messages, when I start a new game and in the loading screen it says "allocating game resources" or something to that effect, then the game just closes. Tried with recommended settings and then again with minimum settings, no difference.
I thought it might be DEP being overzealous, i have the game run as admin, which doesn't seem to be enough. Also, DEP cannot be turned off for the game. So I have no clue what to do here.
Game will not install. "Installing main game files" and it's been stuck there, tried twice (had to end process). Please help. running on 64 bit system, btw.
