So, days ago when I downloaded this, I played it and beat it in an hour or so. Most of that was spent watching the cutscenes.
The intro and credits combined were longer than the time I spent playing.
And don't have the game auto-save as you're going out the window... I slipped, reloaded, and then fell to my death several times before giving in and starting over again. Which meant watching the intro again.
The only part I got a little confused at was the room with the graffiti of the running man. I basically just went berzerk pressing the use key until I heard that I'd picked up an object. Maybe some sort of hint to look in the trash?
Anyway, 7/10 for puzzles n junk.
-1 for bad auto save
-1 for all puzzles being a scavenger hunt
-1 for weak gunfight
Know what'd be neat? If you provided reasoning to back up that opinion.
I'll let you dudes know what I think when I finish the mod.

I highly suggest dual-wielding be made more accessible. I can see a lot of people using a pistol-flashlight combo.

I dunno, man. Think about how long this mod has been in production, then remember that Bethesda had to build the engine as well. I think both games are even in that respect.

As VLN said below, users who have this mod installed and then play a Goldsource game on a VAC server WILL be banned. It'd be a good idea to have a disclaimer similar to Paranoia's on your mod page about the opengl32.dll file, what it's used for, what it's done to people's accounts, and how to prevent it from getting you banned.
tl;dr If you're going to play online with this mod installed, move the opengl32.dll file out of the Half-Life folder and save it somewhere else, then move it back when you want to play again.

I like Raider7's enthusiasm, but too many jokes thrown in could really cheapen the impact of the good ones when they appear. Just a little something to keep in mind :\ If you want an example of this done wrong, just look at half the stand-up comedians on Comedy Central!
This truly is original. mlstrm is the first to create a non-linear single-player experience for HL2. The mod closest to being non-linear (having multiple ways to complete the game) is Heart of Evil:Source, but that obviously doesn't count because it's a port. :)

I wish I could, that would make the map play exactly as I want it to online, but I have no modding skills. Instead I'm relying on mapping tricks to get people to do what I want them to.
