Ah, when you converted it, it fixed. Anyways, if you can do something about the NPC's randomly dieing, it would be helpful. The Barney Metrocop always dies after knocking on the door after he takes you inside. You then have to noclip the entire way to the next chapter. "ACT_diesimple" Anyways, thanks!I know go the full case of the campaign.
I got Half-Mind working on Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer by altering the GameInfo.txt and compling the bin.
Here's how I did it.
Open the Half-Mind folder
In C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\Half-Mind (get rid of the (x86) if you are on a 32-bit computer)
Open the GameInfo.txt In Notepad and select everything and replace it with what is on this PasteBin Pastebin.com and save it and close Notepad.
Go back to the Half-Mind folder and create a new folder called bin and go inside it.
Download this Drive.google.com open it and put both of the .dll inside the bin folder you created.
Close the folder and restart Steam.
I don't how to fix when they randomly die. Sorry.
When the barney npc dies in the beginning when he shouldn't; it says "unknown script: barney_doorpound" in the dev console, I think.
Damn man, nice! Anyways, can you find a way to fix the big error signs outside the starting area? In the town block where the cops are dancing. I have all the HL stuff installed, but it still doesn't show up.
Sorry dude, I don't know how to fix the error signs. They don't show up for me at least.
WARNING: BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD THIS MOD, FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1. When you get the installer, install it like normal. When you get the "Directory" browse button, click it, and put this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods\Half-Mind
The Creator had the wrong link down.
2. HAVE: Half-Life 2, Episode 1, and Episode 2 WITH LOST COST installed. Have also SourceSDK, SDK Base 2006 and 2007, just to be sure. They are in tools.
3. The gameinfo.txt is also wrong with the new steampipe and steam. follow NanoPI, the comment below me. Follow it exactly.
4. MAKE SURE STEAM IS DOWN WHEN INSTALLING. Go to Task Manager, (Ctrl, Alt, Delete) and click "Steam Client Bootstraper", End task. Or, go in steam, click steam at the top left, and click exit. Install, and open it up. This should give you the max for your experience. At least the first chapter won't crash. Steampipe broke this, it's trying to be fixed by the community now, and also me.
EDIT: Follow the comment made by "rioiskickass" above me.
