I have yet to find anything in the texture files.
What the heck is this "Resource Pack System" last snapshot made it sound like it was going to be MADE not to work with texture packs.
"Lots of work towards a new Resource Pack system, but not finished yet. Currently still compatible with texture packs."
Does that mean they are TRYING to make it incompatible with texture packs?
I don't entirely like FTB either, but my issue is more with Gregtech which is included in FTB. since it turns the macerator into an end-game item rather than a early one like it was designed to be.
you forgot to mention that pc is what was used to make those "Xbox-exclusive" games.
actually if you think about it pc's themselves truly are the master race in gaming because it is the source of all videogames. That nice console game you're playing there? yea, it was made on a pc or, less likely, a mac.
does this have all the singleplayer missions? or is it still multiplayer only?

There's also the conversion thing from the previous snapshot's post. It can convert any texture pack to the new format.
roughly 2-3 years really, since Minecraft started... If each version lasted one year then about 3 years, assuming Indev, and infdev were in the same year. Alpha one year, then Beta most of last year, and now full release.

I wonder how long till this gets changed back for being idiotic outside of creative mode. I'm not calling people who do use right click for these things outside creative stupid, I'm calling the whole forcing it on everyone thing idiotic.
I'm starting to think less and less of this mod as I play it. and here are several reasons why.
1. On a Rail is shorter. I love that chapter, I loved riding on the rails in Half Life source, WHY DID YOU SHORTEN IT!?
2. the fans in the generator just before On A Rail don't work to go up a floor like in Half Life source, and the bridge before it didn't explode.
3. the missile generator area did not have the rotating platforms that were also fun in Half Life.
4. The hidden 4th forward gear on the trains is missing(in Half Life if you press forward 4 times then you go faster than just having all 3 forward lights on)
5. also in the area before On A Rail instead of killing the big enemy by just running in and hitting the button you have to plug in wires while in danger of getting killed. Threat of Death and puzzlesolving do not go well together.
6. almost forgot, I was next to helpless in the first zombie area without the crowbar.
Adventure maps that have churches or lecture areas.

i think when Mojang implements a mod's ideas in the main game the mod creator should feel flattered if the code is similar, it means their mod was so good that Mojang decided to make it base game.

now we just need them to remake the Zipline mod in an official release. Since the original author gave up the mod it shouldn't be that hard.
