The full version of "The Red Alert\" 1.2. Includes a number of bug fixes and gameplay enhancements. The mod brings the classic original Red Alert to the glory of Red Alert 3's engine.

All factions:
Fixed Demo truck targeting issue
Fixed co-commander objective complete eva event
Added TaperOff on Rocket soldier weapon impact of 25 (full hit is 35)
Increased demolition truck damage range from 150 to 250 (the same range as the normal nuke)
Removed build progress bar from refineries
Allies:
England now correctly receives its country bonuses
Allies no longer have access to the RA3 Free Trade support power
Added a prefire delay of 0.2s to the Artillery
Added TaperOff on Artillery weapon impact of 90 (full hit is 150 close to 90 far)
Added TaperOff on Cruiser weapon impact of 300 (full hit is 500)
Added idle sound on Tanya (only when Tanya is shown on the screen)
Changed Destroyer rocket model
Removed the Artillery large-range penalty on Turret and Tesla Coil defenses
Soviet:
Destroyed soviet tanks now also spawn surviving crew
Spy plane can be shot down
Decreased Spy plane health from 2000 to 500
Added a new Spy plane exhaust FX
Increased Medium tank reload time with 0.1s
Mammoth tank tusk weapon is slightly less accurate
Increased Mig average firing duration from 0.2s to 0.5s to allow multiple targets
Added TaperOff on Mig weapon impact of 40 (full hit is 55)
Grenadier grenade weapon is slightly more accurate
Grenadier grenade can now blow infantry up
Changed Missile sub rocket model
Other:
Fixed some AI aim problems
Fixed a bug that allowed the AI to use a Mig only once
Fixed weird airplane destroy animations when it's parked on an airfield
Added Divider AI to all factions
Added Hunter AI to all factions
Added infantry walking sounds
Added water wake FX to all helicopters
Optimized the AI to make the different styles more noticeable
Recalculated the experience points
Experience points from destroyed tanks are now moved to the surviving crew
Improved AI Nuke handling
Restored the classic behavior for the Service Depot for vehicles, because the AI no longer has issues with it
Restored suppressed infantry animations

Known Issues:
- It is sometimes impossible to start a skirmish game: the players screen is grayed out.
Fix: Try removing the Skirmish.ini file from Red Alert 3's App Data folder. For
example, on Windows Vista and 7 it is often located at:
C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Red Alert 3\Profiles\\skirmish.ini
- The Nuke falling animation does not show the nuclear missile.
- Old service depot behavior is still present to maintain AI compatibility.
does this have all the singleplayer missions? or is it still multiplayer only?
It has skirmish AI but no singleplayer missions.
I wish it had the singleplayers. I really like RA1 but it would be very nice to play through with better graphics and AI.

when i try to launch the mod it says missign required file "ssleay32.dll" how do i fix this?
I am having the same problem, I have tried using all the other downloads even starting with the original and getting the patches but they all give me the same problem.
did you try copying said file from an earlier install of an earlier version of the mod into the install for the later version? it could simply be an over-writing error where the file was not replaced properly.
just ignore the short cut and open open red alert browser then select mods, after that select the mod and lunch it. This is for the original copy not the Origin.

There shouldn't be any password or key on the zip file. I think you have downloaded the wrong thing.
I found an image of this mod on google images the other night.
I would just like to give the devs a huge virtual High Five, and thank them for recreating my favourite game from when I was young to even now into a more modern 3D engine.

I'm not quite sure if the mod is still alive, but whenever I try to use this mod it says that I'm missing the ssleay32.dll file. I reinstalled the mod but that didn't work. Please help us out here. I know others have complained about it. Please don't let the community down by not fixing this problem. This looks like such an amazing mod.

nice mod, but to be honest ra1 not age well, i'm not like ra3 much but it still better(which is obvious) ecxept maybe balance, hate that one purpose units and super hard counter system of ra3, mammoth from ra1 ftw!
I just tried it out. My experience: Around 5 skirmish matches.
I like'd the model-texture team/unit design, very trustfull to the original Red Alert. Love the whole concept, they all look very good in the Ra3 engine. Love the work thanks for this amazing mod!

I need some help. I refunded RA3 because I couldn't get the mod working, and when I repurchased it, the installer said that it couldn't remove the currently installed version of the red alert to reinstall, even though I removed all the files.

Edit Number 3: Ok So this Mod works just file. I was the problem. If you have gone into your "Program Files x86" to find your Red Alert 3 Application Installer, then created a shortcut from there to do the -ui thing with the shortcut then this is wrong. If your version is from steam go into steam. Find Red Alert 3. Click the settings icon followed by properties. Look for "Launch Options". Here you can type in -ui. This will allow your normal game icon to open up the Game interface that allows you to select mods before launching the game. Do this and your mod will launch fine.
