I just dumped the whole folder to a rar file the first time. I'm uploading a bunch of my old in-progress work since I haven't touched anything in a year and a half. Better to have it online anyway in case the old HD crashes.

yeah, freewebs blows donkeys. I get 500mb of bandwidth each month so only 25 people can DL my 20MB mod:( I usually go with Earthlink because they never shut me off for exceeding my bandwidth, but they only give me 10MB for free so I can't even use them with this mod. Did you pay for Planet Gargoyle's server space out of your own pocket?

Thanks for the comment Shadowfox! I'm really happy with how the game is turning out so far. I do everything myself except the textures and models. I made a few textures with my digital camera, but most are freebies I get off the net and modified in Paintshop. The models are also modified freebies, but I had to make all the skins for them myself.

carni- Q3 bsp format is similar to Q1's format. they both have an array of vertices, but not an array of triangles. someone on the qsg forum suggested a good starting point for building a triangle array, but i'm putting that tokamak crap on hold for now to give my brain a rest. if i ever get it working it would be worth all the time i've put into it though.

cheapy- that second def rocks! i've found a whole new appreciation for gargoyles!

yeah, i already changed that after my friends complained about it, so that fix will be in the next release. I just didn't want people flying through the game in 5 minutes since I only have 1 stage so far.

Mrksmt9 - how can you complain about the Buffy site when they actually have some models set up before HL2 is even out. They have the gameplay for their mod already planned out and seem to be on the right track as far as development goes. Who cares about a pretty website? Their priority is probably building the actual mod instead of building the web site for it.

I just tried it with FTE & it doesn't work too well. I have a lot of add-ons in my version of the engine that the game is dependent on. I tried a few other engines just for ***** and giggles and the darkplaces engine could load the levels, but a lot of the features aren't there. I've tested co-op on my home network and it still works, but I haven't tested it over the net.

I played the original one for quake1 when it first came out and I still love it and think it has the most inventive weapons! I can't handle the PKA download with my crap-a-riffic dial-up, but I think more mods need to include bodily functions.
