Hey guys...love the mod!

Unfortunately when I install 2.0.3, all the maps are pink on the skirmish screen and once I try to play it crashes. I have updated BFME II and updated ROTWK to 2.02 and installed AOTR using the updated file link.

I used to play Edain but I have since completely uninstalled that mod and files so I don't believe I have any CAH issues.

Any idea as to what might be crashing it?

I actually would love to see a dale or men of Rhovanion faction...eriador is already represented with arnor so they've got that covered...mirkwood is too large a kingdom to leave as just an outpost

Beorn would be recruited still through the hut...and I had assumed the creators would want to keep radagast as a summoned power...obviously you could do much more with him as a recruitable hero for mirkwood

Just to bring this up again...because I reallllyyyy eventually want a mirkwood base faction...some comments below.

Mirkwood Heroes...Thranduil (Elven King) Legolas (Son of King) Tauriel (Captain of Guards) Galion (Butler and Jailkeeper of the King)

Lorien Heroes...Galadriel, Celeborn, Haldir, Rumil&Orophin;
Imladris Heroes...Elrond, Glorfindel, Arwen, Gildor or Lindir (could use either one), Erestor (counselor of Elrond)

Three elven factions make sense even though the populations are dwindling...it costs more to recruit them and takes longer to recruit them...there are still 3 main kingdoms in middle earth (could argue 4 for Lindon)...anyway for a Mirkwood faction you could use the same power summoning layout as Lorien...NetoD20 and I had talked about this topic before...add two basic base units (mirkwood scouts archers/soldiers (give the ability to switch...make them much weaker and faster than the elite units similar to what we saw in desolation of smaug), and add basic mirkwood forest pikemen (change the name of the other pikeman to "elite palace guards")...then make one elite unit that can only have three recruitable battalions at once (idk "first age sindar warriors")...allow the ring hero to be thranduil...give him a "Théoden style ring palette of power upgrades"...keep the elk rider cavalry for mirkwood...as for Lorien...how about add a basic cavalry unit not heavy nor light...medium style lancer...you can keep then ents for lorien and maybe just allow the beornings for mirkwood...possibly need to add a seige unit or make the beornings have better seige abilities...this would make each faction different...obviously the base and building designs for mirkwood would have to be created and I don't have the creative artistic ability in this regard...nor code writing ability to make it come to life...the team has done what others cannot do to make middle earth realistic so I defer to their creative expertise

And I am sure the Edain creators don't have much time to make such a massive revamp and creation in the immediate future but this is just something to consider from a die hard Edain and Tolkien fan.

Oh I completely agree that there would have to be some unit tweaking...possibly bringing into the fold some sort of scout infantry unit and basic mirkwood scout archers...then the heavily armored troops could be recruited. I feel like Lorien is a fairly complete faction on its own already...mirkwood would be where the new additions would have to occur.

I also do not have an understanding of modding or the code mechanics that are involved with such potential faction changes...but I am just very hopeful that a Mirkwood base army is still possible :)

A few of suggestions/questions for the incredible mod you guys have put together...

1.Is there any possibility to replicate the ability given to the dwarves (where a realm can be chosen at the beginning of the battle...Erebor/Iron Hills/Blue Mountains) with that the Silvan elves...giving us the ability to choose a starting stronghold (and therefore battle focus) on one elven realm (Mirkwood or Lorien) rather than have Mirkwood as just an outpost? I am assuming that will be the case with the goblins kingdoms where we could choose one...

2. Can the same be done with Arnor(with Gondor) instead of making it its own faction because I know there is a limit. Given that it is only playable on specific maps I would like to have the ability to choose to play as Arnor on all of the northern maps...and maybe the southern fiefdoms on southern maps? All of these could use the generic Gondorian fortress (stronghold) with just different access to specific units and heroes.

3. I am sure that this has already been suggested but can Rohan have one more style of outpost rather than just the generic one...giving it more uniqueness?

4. Finally last one...and I have asked this before...on maps such as Dol Guldur and Minas Morgul I would love to roll out Morgul specific troops and Dol Guldur specific troops but it is basically predicated on capturing an outpost...is it possible to maybe start with the ability to recruit map specific troops or I suppose we can go back to my first couple of points and if possible give us the ability to choose between Minas Morgul, Dol Guldur, and Gorgoroth (generic) Mordor armies like the dwarves.

Most of these are requests surrounding the geographic aesthetics of the armies in the game with maps...but it could allow for more playability and diversity of the factions and units for all your mod fans out there.

Thank you again for your incredible mod with all the time and effort you guys have put into it...its by far the best mod I have come across.

I really cannot wait for the new update I am so excited!! Quick question though! As I just saw in the trailer here, and this has been an unanswered quetion of mine before, there were Dol Guldur units marching out of the Dol Guldur map fortress against the Elves. Before with the Dol Guldur and Minas Morgul maps there seems to be no ability (outside of the Mordor outposts) to recruit any of these "map" specific troops within the base building plots. For example the only way I can train Minas Morgul orcs on the Minas Morgul map is by capturing the outpost in the lower left corner of the map and building a Morgul outpost. Do you think you can somehow start the Minas Morgul and Dol Guldur bases with an outpost inside the base to allow for specific troops to be trained? Or allow for a unit specific barracks to be built for these maps??

Everytime I play on the Isengard map the game crashes after 3 minutes...is this happening to anyone else? And is there anything I can do on my end to help fix it?

Completely agree with the placing of a minas morgul barracks at minas morgul...or at least allowing the construction of one there...same with Dol Guldur...makes complete sense if the team has the ability to do it

Given that the elves factions haven't been released yet...maybe it would be possible for them to create a Mirkwood faction, and then keep Lorien and Rivendell/Lindon separate? You really make a great argument here but again it is entirely up to the Edain team making the game modifications...

Great job with the mod...I love it! I do notice a couple of things are happening though that seem wrong...it wont let me recruit Théoden at Edoras or Helms Deep... is that supposed to be that way??
