Woot! I've been hoping for item repair ever since I crafted an epic pickaxe and had to see it break. It took my heart along with it. :*(
Sign me up, I do graphic art for website design and games (in case you forgot, I designed the original Redux site and logos for the forums).
Nicely done man, I can't wait to experience that ambiance. :D
It's great to hear you guys are back to developing this mod. If you need a beta tester let this guy know - I just bought a new top of the line processor and video and have been playing CoP like mad lately so I'm dying for some new content!
That's a super cool story ezeht - though I don't think your character idea is quite good enough for a mod of this quality. Sure all Stalkers in the Zone have their sob stories and boast about the women they've had and whatnot but usually they're the first guys to be sent on missions to clear Bloodsucker lairs and get sent in first, if you catch my drift.
As for all of us getting our just rewards in time; I personally can't wait for Lost Alpha to come out! I've been following development since the mod was announced and can't wait for my patience to pay off. That's very thoughtful of you to say, and I'm sure everyone on here will agree to that!
Thank you! My life is actually pretty grand and I try to find the good in every moment of it, but if you enjoy the sadness then who am I to tell you otherwise? That would just make me sound like a self-absorbed, ignorant waste of life who goes on the internet to complain and make people feel sorry for him. I'm glad I'm not, nobody wants to be around those kind of people. Anyway, I hope the modders take what they can from your input and you get to see some of your ideas come to life... because in the end, it's the community that makes Stalker what it is, and we're one big quarreling family. :)
You obviously do care what people think or you wouldn't be so butt-hurt about it. Welcome to the internet bro.
The fact is, they're the modders - they might consider your ideas but ultimately they're going to make the mod they want it. It's not because they're trying to hurt your feelings, it's because they want to make a great mod based off community feedback and their idea of what Stalker should be. Whining about it doesn't help support your idea, it makes YOU look childish.
Trust me, I'm a modder as well and I also write a lot of Stalker fan-fiction on the GSC forums, I know all about having to reject certain ideas that don't fit, even if it bums certain people.
Woot! I've been waiting for this day for a long time. Your texture packs really make STALKER worth playing over and over again. Downloading now! :D
I've been pretty disheartened at the apparent lack of module-builders left, which is somewhat shocking since CEP is still releasing updates. I know I'm a little late to the party, but I'm here now, and I've got enough ideas about what my ultimate RPG would be. The only thing I need now is scripters, modders, and players to give me the support I need to get through this beast. :)
That I have. That idea was inspired from Oblivion. One thing that kept me playing for the 500+ hours I've put into the game is how the leveling never really ends, and there's always one more thing you can do to become more powerful. I decided that adding vampires and (when implemented) lich's would add a unique path for characters to go down as well as add additional end-game content. Because, let's face it, most MMOs have weak end-game IMO, yet I've played Oblivion so much that I probably need an interverntion. ^_^
I am so stoked for this mod dude. I played through the final stable version of Redux and loved it just as much as I did testing it. I'm really excited to see SoC/CS content appear on the CoP engine and have no doubt that you'll bring the realism and fun as you have in the past.
I'm currently working on my own projects, but if there's anything a dedicated Redux fan can do to help just let me know. ;)
After seeing your comment for the third time I just realized that it was not "Spongebob Squarepants" like I assumed it was at a glance. Epic. :D
The amount of detail on the blind dog's mouth is insane. Oo
Wow, that gun needed iron-sights so bad. This might actually make the gun worth having now.
This is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Something got owned.
No baby Snorks in his future...
I said come in - don't stand there!
This mid is friggen amazing. I played this together with 3 of my friends and we love it. I hope that you'll be able to finish a lot of the TBA stuff and tweak where needed.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
Nice. I never understood why they took walls out of C&C 3... a base is not complete without them...
Epic. This will definitely add a new element to Sins that I would love to experience. :)
Wow...that is amazing. Now animate him tearing out ginormous pieces of computer hardware to stop Bond from tracing his location. XD
