Emmm that's not strictly true, it seems to have seen limited use against the Japanese in Manchuria. Although yeah, its use in Europe is a little bit of creative licence (then again so is the Bergetiger).

Wow, this is like a dream come true! I've been saying for years that someone should do a North Africa Mod for Coh, consider me excited. One question though, i know you don't want to included a mix of races but would you consider the Moroccan Goumiers as a unit for the British due to their fairly famous reputation?

Their was brief discussion about having the t-26 in EF but the dev's took one look at the multi-turret design and just cringed. With that in mind it just makes this thing even more impressive.

Great patch guys i'm loving it, maybe a few little rough round the edges niggles (missing icon pictures etc) but overall the workmanship really shines. I just have to ask, who managed to get the A.I to use the reward units ?!?!?! I tired a test game the other day and nearly fell off my chair with surprise when the PE turned up with a Hotchkiss!

Yeah this is happening to me too, i've tried reinstalling EF completely but it makes no difference :( (Also i would post this on the EF website but, its running so slowly because of the high traffic i can't get onto the forums).

Yeah unfortunately theirs been a bit of a delay after the developers found a particularly bad crash bug at the last second. Hopefully they'll have it fixed fairly soon though and normal services can resume.

You are aware the A.I is given an advantage in resources etc to compensate for the the fact that its thick? That's why its able to spam so much, if you play as the Germans the A.I does the same thing as the Russians.

Hey guys, hows the Mod going?
I caught this on Channel 4 (UK) the other night and thought you might find it interesting (if you haven't already seen it).
Channel4.com

p.s i'm not suggesting you should include it or anything (although it would be fun to play around with).

Sorry, right i forgot you my be awesome but your not a clairvoyant :P. Ok i've got the steam version of coh with both expansions updated to the current patch and i'm running windows 7. After a bit of searching i was able to get the shortcut target line right to run the mod with steam. Everything went fine until i tried to load a game, once game started i immediately got "Fatal AI Error. Execution Paused". As well as this a lot of textures and models were replaced with blue boxes or purple squares and i had to quit. This seems to happen regardless of what factions or what maps i pick.

Nope, the Soviets don't have MG's or troop transports to keep the faction balanced, if they did they'd be ridiculously overpowered.

It was a pure balance thing, soviets don't have MG's and troop transports to offset their other strengths.

I know the trench gun wasn't double barrelled, i was more making the point that it was American issue not British issue, the only shotgun the brits could really have would be a double barrelled shotgun. :P
