Lighting has little contrast or colour.
With a little tweaking some of those props would be really nice, can I suggest you release them for the public to use? They would still have to give you credit but your stuff would get used.

I won't be impressed until they start showing elements which are actually needed for a modern game (dynamic lights, skinned/ animated meshes). Right now it seems like there making a lot of hot air because frankly polygons are looking a grand size lot nicer than their atoms because they have something called art direction.

Oh and I hope it doesn't sound like i'm criticizing too much but your soldier models look dead themselves! There skin is almost white, add a bit of colour dude! :P
Oh and can you give the royal marines a green baret, that'd make them stand out a little more.
The Stryker looks great, not too sure on the road block pieces/ sign, there's a bit of a scaling discrepancy between them and the quality differs between them. Great work tho!

I actually prefer the way it looked before, much more clean and not so much clutter.
When a sharks mouth is open, the gills obviously open too, to allow water (but not divers) to pass through, of course, when the sharks mouth is closed the gills are much tighter.

The textuer on the panels looks blurry and streched, also makes some gaps between the panels.
The lighting is a little bland but the terrain is fantastic.

Many props can be added, and should be done on the next version. There is terrain in the game but you need to have correct textures too make it work correctly. We 'might' be able to get some sort of falling dust if possible, we can add both snow and rain in the glest engine. The bridges cant be done properly. What kind of feature were you thinking of SinKing?
Im hoping for a very different gameplay for the next version as well. Should be easier for the Humans to get quickly started and easier for the bugs to build hordes of units.

Yes, it shouldnt be used to make big professional games, but for small free games that are fun too play it is great. It is good for people that want to make their games quickly and have quality, as long as they can put up with 2D.

I may be starting a may professional one sooner. But yes there is a real gap in Standalone Games, one which is mainly because as of yet games are only starting to include mod mangers, Sup:Com is the new one to support this.

Hey! The background are great, Id serialy suggest rendering characters later on in later releases, you probely already know but make sure you at least blend that character face to the back of the face (character on the left). Also to let you know after i used the PAX acount my guy was constantly doing the walking animation :p
