The aspect ratio ratio is kinda bad, but I like the tech. What I think you should do is program a "walk-cycle" and layer it with the idle if the character moves, specially with a sideways touch. Subtle up/down movement, alternating with left/right.

You should also get a character artist and start making some new FP hands, maybe even a full-body rig and toss off those fp hands, but thats heavy work. If you need any help you could message me, I'd be glad to assist.

Posting an updated version of your current tech would be nice aswell.

CBA, don't care and blergh. People shouldn't need the hall of fame of reckognition to get work and motivation, rather that they are creating and awesome product. I might play a mod, I might acually rate it if I can be bothered. That "download" stat should be far more worth than a "vote" from alot of people who also makes comments about it.

I doubt it. The more eye candy, the more processing power is needed. Just because its an older engine, doesn't mean you cant spectacle it beyond belief.

Call of Duty's engine is based off Quake 4.

Windows 8 GUI suck, but they've made innovation that helps performance and improves gaming. As with MAC, yes it's good for designing and graphical stuff, but mostly to do with videos and images as it was designed for.

It can be a powerfull tool, but games aren't made for Macs. As said by others they are overpriced and probably less than 10% of the gaming market, which is a consideration for developers if they wish to spend time porting to a minority.

I can't say I am for exclusives but on the console side it is unforgivable since a port is basically fitting it to the other side of buttons from my point-of-view but porting from console to PC is a bad practice. Porting from PC to Mac is not a priority since they probably have a console you can port to and they can get it anyway.

Linux is another side because it is a pure optimized but different framework. There are applications that make windows apps working so thats a workaround, and there is even less Linux users, allthough Linux has a great deal of good quality OS.

Microsoft also owns about 50% of apple anyway, so you are essentially buying a MS product, might aswell buy the better and cheaper one called PC.

I have a few nitpicks. While the ValVe Time review was dumb and dragging down, this one was putting feathers under the arms. There are quite a few issues with this mod that should be adressed.
Animations: Their not top quality. Most animations for people are great enough but the weapons are all in need of a touch-up, with exeptions of the Gauss gun and maybe the revolver. Theyve done quite alot good though, added the missing stuff from HL1 and made this wonderful mod. I agree with that the voice acting is pretty uber, and even if some lines arent in the original game, it fits right in.

We need someone abit more objective to the game to make the review. Its either not enough HL or so uberly awesome that doesnt matter with these guys.

I can agree with the weapon animations and some few animations, but its pretty cool. One thing you can never expect is a remake of the same thing because between engines you have new stuff that you can add. Thereby you can enhance the game. Im acually happy they did.

Mid to high range PCs = 2.5 GHz and a screen driver from 2001? Im pretty sure since my laptop runs GO you shouldnt get raped by BM. So Im saying mid to high range laptops = your loss. Shouldnt affect review.
