I sent in 121 Athens Carriers, three quarters bombers and one quarter fighters, I destroyed the last Flood ship with 81 Athens Carriers remaining.
It's not impossible, you just have to think about it, you need numbers over tankiness and a higher ship-destruction rate than their infection rate.
It's completely canon. :)
Although, point made, I was really disapointed after taking the world. I did it in the middle of a multiplayer game, hoping that it would give me a major advantage, alas I was disappointed and had found that I had wasted my time.

What is the command structure of the mod team? Can we get details of the hierarchy/positions?
What is the communication structure of the mod team? Is everybody able to communicate with everybody else? If not, why not? And don't you think that it should take priority so that the team can be as productive as possible with the least amount of delay between decisions and actions?
How does one apply to be a part of the team? What are the requirements? Do you have a community team? Can we apply for those positions? Is there a limit to how many positions are available?
What is your ultimate goal? What are your current priorities? And what are members of the team currently working on? (E.G. Example is working on modelling. Blah is working on texturing. Etc. Etc.)
Mickey... Have you tried contacting other Homeworld 2 mod teams to try and figure out the hyperspace issue? Not to mention others?

I'm actually curious, if the team is in a bad way of communication, how does anything get done effectively?
Surely it would make sense that every member of the team would know everything? Roughly speaking, of course. Or, at least, wouldn't it be a priority to set up communication in a stable manner? Even if it's just a single chat room in TeamSpeak 3 or some other program/webpage.

Mmm, that's true, but I'd still like to see a version without. I mean, have you looked at two seperate versions, one with and one without, and then decided which looked better?
Perhaps sent both drafts to Unikraken or Canada and see their opinions?
Ultimately, after all is said and done, you might actually end up with a combination of both after realizing that some of it was appropriate and some of it wasn't.
On another note, as to motion blur in games, I'm probably biased as I also disable the option. (I'd actually thought that most players did.) Sure, it may be more realistic, but depending on your beliefs it actually detriments from the experience. But, as for my bias, it makes me feel sick and feel like the game is doing something unnatural. (Unnatural for a game, that is, not reality.

Personally, I'd say you need to get him to create two different drafts of his videos/renders, one with and one without any kind of motion/distance blur. Why? I've hardly ever seen any kind of blur used in Halo. It doesn't look right - Not to mention that almost-all games don't use in this manner just because of how video-game engines are designed.
Heck, even post both and see what the community think, I believe that the previous video would have been a lot better without any of it.

I would say that you should wait until the release. There's no point in wasting effort if the task is already being done.
Then again... There's always FX-Commander if you want a remastered race which, in my opinion, has way too many 'improvements'.

Honestly... I disagree. :/ The lights are too concentrated/solid/they contrast way too much with the rest of the planet. But I guess that's just my opinion.

The texturing of the Vanig is nearly complete. We're are currently texturing the other models we have featured so far in order of their appearance in the campaign. We have not begun developing the mod ingame at this time.
I wonder... Is it possible to give each galaxy, except the Milkyway, a different color? Such as making Pegasus a slightly more teal/sea-blue looking galaxy.
Personally... I'm not bothered about the colors. It's just the shape and design overall.

This looks amazing. Well done. My only criticism would be that the hangar is a bit too bright, but oh well, that might be the look that you're going for with that.

I asked this on the homepage. They are planning to remake the campaign and remaster all the NPC races. Though they are going to finish the skirmish mode completely before starting on anything else.
Question... Why give the construction ship nacelles?

P.S. I'm sorry if I'm coming over a bit strong in asking you questions. I just have a genuine love for the Homeworld Trilogy and would love for a new chapter in that trilogy to be told.
Elaboration questions and some more that I've thought of:
1. Does that mean the 'Falcon' will be a remodeled Vargr carrier with new features and stat buffs rivaling that of the two other Motherships?
2. The Agamemnon? The ship featured in the original alpha build that is now presiding in the Karos Graveyard? If yes, please, elaborate! (This has genuinely got me excited :D)
5. Are you not understand the question? Or saying that you won't be looking for voice actors on ModDB / Online that sound like characters from the original game?
6. Will you be removing any units from the original game? Or perhaps adding some units from the original's campaign? Such as the Crew Transports and Low-Orbit Atmosphere Deprivation Weapons?
7. Will you be featuring areas of the galaxy that have been featured throughout the trilogy? Such as Kharak, the nebula of Kadesh, Koreth's Rift, Tanis, the Kadiir Nebula, the Lost Sea of Souls (In which I would personally LOVE to see the ghost ship!)
8. Will any of the events in Cataclysm be present? Even if mentioned? Such as finding the wreckage of the Naggarokk, or the Kuun-Lan's original lower half.
After the next release, do you plan on creating a campaign? If so, are you thinking of basing the campaign around actual episodes, or creating a new story?
(P.S. I totally have to ask this because of a fanboy nature: Will there be a Stargate Universe GC? Or, if the campaign is a new story, will the Destiny be featured? :D )

1. During this campaign, will our 'mothership' be Makaan's flaship, a Vaygr carrier, or some new type of ship that is yet to be revealed?
2. Will you be featuring the discovery of the Vaygr core's discovery in the ice fields of Hethlim, the discovery of the Planet Killers, and how the Vaygr dreadnaught came to be under Makaan's control?
3. How many missions can we expect from this campaign?
4. Will voice acting be featured in this campaign?
5. If the answer to the latter is yes; will you feature the voices of Makaan, Karan S'jet, or any of the voices in the original game? (Obviously not the real voice actors, but people that could sound like them.)
6. Will you be releasing new additions to the existing factions? Such as new ships and research options?
This is a teaser for said unit profile. We can assume that they'll be releasing the actual unit profile a few days after launch.

I believe the Homeworld 2 engine only allows for the color of Hyperspace windows to differ only when the race itself is different. Not the region or class of ship.

i think its perfect, the spikes could be the massive engines to make the big hulk move, and the ends of the 2 wings are hangars?

they tested the physics of the map in a skirmish? (i always test in skirmish before making it a campaign level.)
can it mimic certain asteroids? specific to that map? also, can harvesters harvest it? also enemys shouldnt be able to discover it until it opens, not even scouts or advanced sensors.

i think it might be when u start a space battle, u know the camera always pans at the beginning, this could be the replacement but with any ship
ccould u double the amount of missle coming out of the needleship and half the damage of each missle? cos id like to see a massive swarm, ever if it was a little damage with each missle, KEEP UP THE GD WORK!
