Damn. i hate hollywoodish games. I prefer natural (and punishing) surviving experience than corny, excessive and unnatural action crap (like the latest tomb raider. It was ****.) Is it worth buying? I was very enthusiastic waiting for this one.

first playing it when i am in elementary school, now after years have gone by, even elementary kids still play this. Just say, a mixture of great fun, simplicity, undemanding characteristic, simple to mod, and nice easter eggs (even funny bugs) make THIS game a LEGEND for a shooter.
Please make something as fun as this one for GTA V Rockstar, GTA IV is way too serious. No planes too :(

come on, fellas. wait a bit longer. we all know mods created in a short time is mostly crap or just minor tweaks.
But i think you may want to release it before Q1 this year. because MoW vietnam is coming and you don't want your mod to get slow response due to everybody busy checking out Vietnam, right?

Hmm is patched to 1.0006 and installed the mod but there's a problem. the minimap is not showing anything else except me and the number of person nearby, but no waypoint or the person on the minimap. anyway to fix this??

@_Wolf_ : i HAVE played DotA. i didn't say it's crap but it isn't strategy. strategy is company of heroes, age of empires series, total war series (not fully strategy, i know), C&C series, stronghold series, etc.
and what strategy involved when you're back from the dead all over again and doing the same damn stuff. (e.g: bashing pixels).
i think it's more like action. run and bash, slash and boom. maybe valve's going to change my opinion about it once it released.
and YES! i never said valve shouldn't improve the game. can YOU tell me the aspect of strategy involved in DotA?

You can't call DotA strategy. it's more like mashing pixels for some times until it ran out of hit points, spawn, and do the same **** all over again. FOR 40 MINUTES
