Run into something odd. Installed THB, then the 1.8.2. However, on game launch, I can activate TBH in game manager, but the one that says New Factions won't activate. Ideas?

I don't see a issue if a handful of special fighters don't have it in exchange for special abilities. Mostly, What I refer to is our interceptors and such, which make the bulk of our grunts in space. Without those guys, Imperial ships for instance get swamped fast traditionally. Something like the Defenders though, and I'm also assuming B-wings, would be our more elite forces. I can deal with a small number of a specific fighter personally needing orders to act. It's all the unnecessary minutia of the interceptors that most often irritates me, and sometimes bombers too.

On that note, I was reminded of the TIE Shadows, the imperial cloaking fighters. Did you ever do a model of those? Or are they not in? I likely missed it awhile back.

A persistent concern of mine is that fighter craft come without the hunt ability. As cool as fighters are, I always abhorred Rebellion fighters and most fighters in mods because I could not relegate my fighters to AI so they can move and act on their own while I handle fleet maneuvers. I always hated this because there is no notable reason to not give them this ability, since it simply puts them on auto. In the end, I almost ritualistically have to individually track down fighters because I'm too busy countering the enemy fleet early on to handle the fighters. Do you intend to add the Hunt Ability to fighters so that they can be put on auto so we can watch the fleet fights and command starships if we want to without suddenly seeing fighter support completely lagged behind?

Actually, it is in fact possible from the nilla version on space stations. those hard points show up in grey, telling you that you can bring them back if you pay to rebuild them. After they siphon some cash away, the hard point comes back fully rebuilt, however, that only applied to a few hardpoints. On the subject of space stations, they need to be absolutely powerful fortresses rather then a bomber happy player's rush target. it's no fair to watch 5 bombers somehow kill a space station in 5 runs if you go the route of targetable points for a space station (Please don't)

Gero, perhaps on the theme of repairs is pulling back a ship to a special satellite constructed facility that can repair not just destroyed parts, but perhaps the entire ship? This gives the feel of a more active combat front where critically damaged ships aren't used to attract fire and are pulled back to be repaired and sent back to the front, provided they escaped the melee

There would need to be way more fighters on both sides. For now it feels underwhelming, plus fighters are useless against the frigs. Oh and the human fighters can fly through the wraith cruisers unless near a small specific point

From your work in ORAW Gero, I hardly think anything you have done here is a simple graphical improvement. Your ORAW mod is already one of the best out there, and it is fun having longer capital ship fights there. Your mods look great, play well, and are quite fine. The only thing ground really needs anyway are Ai pathing updates and new maps, and I have a feeling someone out there has mods to improve just that. Dzev is a small minority and apparently he can't comprehend reading the description. With google translate about, he has no excuse not translating your description to his native tongue either.

Thanks Geronimo. I often used the Arc hammer frequently in the GC for example. I loved building teams of dark troopers and using them to simotaneously raid many planets at a time. Plus you can park it about anywhere to build heavy and light troopers without actually needing a barracks :D. Useful for mining station only planets

Will there be any chance of there being a version where it has a more drawn out battle? Every fight I go to, the big ones, my ships blow up without actually being hit by the enemies projectiles. I know the goal is fastpaced but the ships need to appear as if they are really being hit by their opponents. Call it a weakness of someone who likes to watch the fights rather then click and not watching after.

I will take a look Striker, so thanks for the link. Still, I do a lot of mod switching. My concern however is that the only thing I am concerned about is swapping between the hard points. Considering how many weapons each ship will have, I think I might get lost in a mod like Geronimo's.
