Coming across the trailer for this game and eventually playing it for free during a steam offer. I was immediately immersed the moment my first Uruk killed me and became my first nemesis of many. Using up as much of the free offer as possible, led to purchasing the game on the disc to continue my collecting and training of Ork allies and rivals.

The main story of the game has intriguing moments but some of the other human characters lack the same allure as the Uruks and other non-human characters. Overall an excellent game that offers allot in the base version of the game and even more with the DLC content which offers the full game experience.

The overall horror in this game is superb in particular the Ocean House Hotel level scared me the first time playing at midnight. However, the vampire lore and small details such as the television and radio set were fantastic.

I had allot of fun playing this game despite the few grievances along the way and the bullet time moments in game play were badass and pure joy. In addition, it was interesting to know how this game was connected to the the crew from the animatrix and then how enter the matrix connected all the matrix content together.

It would be nice to see more matrix games or mods being developed though.

After my brief time of game play with the first Geneforge game I absolutely loved the concept of creating my own monsters to fight beside me ;however I need to purchase the whole saga to enjoy it from start to finish.

I have followed the games production since Mercury Steam finished the first Lords of Shadow and I can conclude that despite the quirks throughout the story and anti climax towards the end. I truly enjoyed the combat system, character and environmental designs in particular.

After playing Dawn of War 2 for a number of years, I have enjoyed both the design and immersion of the 40k universe and of course killing hordes of Orks and Tyranids :)
