Battlefront Halation is a mod for Star Wars Battlefront II (2005) that adds Halo themed gameplay to both Instant Action and Multiplayer.
Great effort. This is still a work in progress, so there are still things that need to be worked on, but it is definitely on its way up!
Absolutely one of the most well-done non Star Wars mods for SWBF2, up there with the likes of Mass Effect Unification in converting the game into a completely different experience.
great job, by a great team. Custom models, graphical assets, this team has gone above an beyond, even though it is in an early state the complete and overall effort of this mod is just amazing. One of the very very very few mod's that will likely stayed permanently installed.
It does exactly what it sets out to do, it's only missing more maps. Of course it would be pretty cool if there was a campaign as well but that might be asking too much.
Weapons lack impact, the few vehicles I've tried were unsatisfying and felt weak, and lack of stock map support means there's very little variety with only three maps. There's definitely room to improve, but in my honest opinion its not even worth playing in its current state.

The mod is great, has some unique modes and units.. the new sounds also add to the halo immersion... can’t wait to see the other maps added...

The model quality makes me wonder about the true capabilities of this engine, the original assets pale in comparison to the detail put into Master Chief.
