Shadowgrounds series maintains its style in the first and in the second (Survivor) episode: a respectable action game which is all about fun - and some alien's kills too :-)

What i find less actractive in this first episode is that each missions has to be completed, otherwise you don't get saves.

The overall impression it's good, as almost everybody said, but i felt uncomfortable playing with mouse and keyboard and my gamepad doesn't work, both under windows and linux OSs and i still don't know why.
Graphics and sound are nice but, in my opinion, this game is not the best you can get from Frozenbyte.

I like this game so far, even if it's someway complicated to advance level after level. A gamepad is highly recommended.

Played this title long time ago and i have pleasant memories only.

Nice game: it seems a bit simplistic at the beginning...you know, place some towers and watch the gunfight, but as long as you progress it becomes a matter of strategy: you have to plan and think ahead your next move to have success.
Fully recommended.

Ambientazione dark, da giocare assolutamente al buio, muniti di cuffie, per delle sicure strizzate di chiappe: il gioco è del tipo avventura, il cosiddetto Survival Horror sullo stile dei precedenti titoli della serie "Penumbra". Non ci sono nemici, un'ombra oscura sembra però seguirci e agghiaccianti apparizioni (senza contare la mole di effetti che ci fanno girare gli occhi a star fissi di fronte al monitor) ci perseguitano. Per chi ama il genere è sicuramente uno spettacolo.
