The hype is real, this feature was quite unexpected.
The hype is real, this feature was quite unexpected.
That is great! I really appreciate liberty and customization.
Have you read my comment about the fortified camp? It seems to have vanished somehow.
Anyway, keep it up! Really hyped.
This must be the most polished and well rounded mod of this type, the effort and dedication is commendable. The features seem very interesting and prone to increase replay-ability and an immersive gameplay.
I'm also very glad to see more arms and armour options for custom troops and the ability to also edit those of the castle and royal (also I presume?) guards.
Keep it up! This is some very well appreciated work.
If I can I'll add some feedback, that's the least I can do as a 'community member' so to say.
Hello! I have posted about this problem before but it seems I got no answer.
I have installed the mod a few times now and the same issue persists: units either don't attack at all or attack very sparingly.
At first it seemed a problem of a few two handed units, but now more seem to share it.
Thanks in advance, great mod, keep it up!
This one has become one of my favourite ever total war modifications! Good job!
This is quite the feature. Considering the titles, is this you executing a prisoner as a vassal?
Thanks for the response.
I did mess about with models and using the provided .dds to .texture converter. Converting to .dds works fine and I can edit the textures, but after converting back and booting the game the units become mostly invisible with some textured patches.
What could I be doing wrong?
Not wishing to overstay my welcome, where do I find the models and textures for the fourth era imperial units?
Looking into the files a bit it seems you forgot to add the cavalry unit to 'legion_camp' in "export_descr_buildings".
Furthermore I notice that in order to be able to build the legion camp the settlement requires the hidden resource 'skyrim'. It's easy enough adding it myself, but I wonder what other consequences could it have if I applied it to more settlements far from skyrim, as a way to allow the recruitment of legions as the faction of Skyrim expands. I say that because I noted that other units, mainly draugr, are associated with said hidden resource. What do you think?
Hello!
This new version is quite amazing, I am having a lot of fun playing as a loyal Skyrim! The dynamics of employing Empire and Skyrim troops feels quite fresh and enjoyable (even though I am ending up using mostly imperials).
Related to this I've got some feedback. You have been getting a lot of it so these problems might have been mentioned before, so here it goes:
2 graphical bugs: smoke (as in coming from burned soldiers, siege engines and buildings) is blue; the imperial officer model for the imperial units under loyal skyrim are silver.
1 other bug, or potentially a feature, is that there seems to be no way to recruit/retrain Cyrodilic cavalry as loyal Skyrim.
Keep up the great work! I wait your response.
Good work on the mod! However I seem to be ubable to increase the battle size past 150. According to the features I should be able to, correct?
I am the author of this comment, now logged in. Here to add that Londinium has no siege arena, just an open field and cluttered spawn points.
Great work on the mod!
I am having trouble figuring out how to increase the battle size above 150. How do I do it?
It makes sense. It still feels odd and limiting to have it that way. I was also speaking in probably adding more settlements akin to Weye, near the Imperial City. Small but that can be developed with time and care. Still, if the intention is not to had more cities then it is as it is.
Hello. Really looking forward to the next release.
I would like to note something:
The imperial province is remarkably sparsely settled. What I'm referring to is the low amount of settlements per area. Elsweyr is the size of the Gold Coast and Colovia yet it has more settlements than the whole imperial province. This creates a lower relative production of income and manpower as well as logistical issues regarding the reinforcement of certain places and border security. Would it be unreasonable to add a few more, even if slightly underdeveloped, settlements to Cyrodiil? One might think it would make the empire overpowered, but doesn't it already have to contend with distant territories, a massive border, and many potential aggressive neighbors?
Thanks :)
EDIT: I would also like to mention that some mercenary units seem to have unlimited morale, which makes them quite a tough nut sometimes and prolongs battles far beyond what they should.
Hello
Is there a way to remove the graphical feature that makes the soldiers look like they have been rolling in manure after they march for a while?
This is a great mod to use as a base. How would I go about setting up the Module System? The build_module.bat registers a fair bit of errors.
Which version of diplomacy is this mod using?
Alright, noted. Thank you for the quick reply.
*Edit: After doing those steps I tried a custom battle, it seems I'm unable to add settlements (the game crashes as soon as I add one). This appears to be a thing with many mods. What could cause it?
Hello.
Are steps 4 and 5 necessary? I made it like in any other mod and just renamed some folders (I have the steam version) before doing it and it works fine. Will this affect the game?
On a side note the amount of stuff on the campaign map seems excessive for my computer, at least in certain parts like Athel Loren.
Nice work on the mod and have a good one.
Hello. Let me first say that this is an amazingly fun mod to play.I do have a thing to report.
Often times in battles (both custom and in campaign) I see that men do not engage in melee, they will charge and do damage but after that they will rarely perform blows, both my men and the enemy's (or only one of them resulting in the opposite side being slaughtered).
I haven't performed a huge amount of testing but from what I gathered this seems most common in two handed units such has the Imperial Halberdiers or the Pandas.
I did try reinstalling the mod.
Thanks in advance and keep your good work.
