It was the sweet fx stuff. I just didn't install it after retrying everything. Looking forward to the next version. The good campaign map goes into extreme slowdown when the Isengard mission is set though
Odd, didn't realize that Java wasn't installed. Anyways. now it gives me an error message that says "Please you have Direct X 9.0 or higher. Also verify that your video card meets the minimum requirements" (the vanilla game worked fine)
Yeah, when part 2 finishes, I leave it on the checkmark of "Launch Game" but nothing. I click on the shortcut and nothing, just that windows doesn't have an app to run it

They used those models because they liked how they fit with the esthetic. You're not gonna see them add stuff like Agandaur, for example
So, about Angmar. I absolutely love the esthetic of the faction. Like that you can play a bit more defensively in comparison to other evil factions. But I feel there's a bit of a missed opportunity in not having as many orcs and beasts be readily available aside for the orc rabbles, wolves and the spells.
I get that Angmar would have the men they turned to their side as the elites. But considering that they had the the Ettenmoors, Mount Gram and Gundabad under their realm (or at least at close proximity) We should be able to recruit trolls and slightly stronger orcs. Maybe not have the Gundabad orcs be exactly like how they're gonna show up in the Misty Mountains, but still
Finally had some time to play as the new Angmar and Imladris factions. Predictably though I went back to the newly updated dwarves as they're my favorites. Still, great updates as always, guys. So what are the plans for the future?
Also, on Path of the Edain Is there any way for you to play as your other created heroes? I start the mission but the others are AI? Do I have to set up a starting position for each team?

Would you add visual upgrades to the armor upgrades? I like it when the militia gets armor that looks like a light version of the main military's armor

They kind of avoided showing them off because the way these men of the east are described they are obviously meant to be analogues of the Middle-eastern people during medieval times. Kinda awkward in today's more PC times

Loving the Erebor faction. Odd selection of heroes, though, are those members of Thorin's company supposed to be characters that survived the Battle of the Five Armies and/or didn't participate in the expedition to Moria?
There's a balance issue. Dwarf battalions are small, so a single volley of arrows from the much more numerous goblins can kill one battalion. Either make dwarf battalions bigger or make them tougher in general

Have done both, only recent BOTTA is on the C drive, the crash message says "ini Parse FXList -- FXList FX_Blink TomEnd not found!" and "Error parsing field 'Fire FX' ii block 'Weapon' in file 'Data\INI\includes\weapon.inc', ine 805"
I try to apply that and it says the path is invalid

Iron Hills have Slaughterers, Erebor has the Arkenguard, what's Blue Mountain's elite? Some kind of berserker that hits hard but it's a glass canon? Much like vanila's Zealots?
Well, see, for whatever reason the vanilla version would crash on launch for me. So somewhere in the forums they linked me to some program that launches it properly. So I used it for this mod and it's working
