Atleast Left4dead uses dedicated servers.
Guess Half life 2 counts for me, I bought the Goty version in 2006 for a mod.
Cool, I may reinstall Bfme2/Rotwk to try this out later.
I dislike the Unreal 3 engine for it's lack of AA support and horrible texture streaming. However it does do facial detail very well.
I enjoy this mod a lot.
First comes looks, if a mod uses base half life 2 models and ugly maps I won't download it. If it atleast has some intriguing visuals I'll read up on the gameplay and if I like what I see I'll download it only to find that there's one server with 3 people on it.
Yay for over-saturated source modding scene!
I only play mods that I enjoy a lot, but I will make an effort to try any mods with a decent amount of content and players.
I think that the actual quantity of mods being released is much lower as it's harder to produce content. Sure, you have the tools but to make something good looking takes a long time.
Excellent mod, I gave it a 10 because of the magnificent voice acting and dialogue and the intriguing atmosphere. Well done!
Nice little mod with some great dialogue and voice acting, a true gem. I gave it a 9 because the stealth portion didn't require you to actually sneak around cause you could just talk the guards into letting you go.
Excellent mod, 10/10. It was fun to play, the levels were visually appealing( and practical) and I had a helluva lot of fun playing. Valve quality material. One thing that did kind of bug me was the rather monotonous voice acting, it was lacking emotion and just felt like people were just reading the lines off.
Finally we're getting somehwere
