One crazy bastard, who loves most games, and loves to make new stuff for them if I can. Given enough time I will make an entire mod by my self, I just have to learn a few things along the way, well Best get started, now where to I begin?
these tend to be great engines, you gotta love a studio willing to put forth the efort to make its own way and not use anothers hard work.
Though Not perfect, what mod even could hope to be? But Discovery does go a long way to trying to make Freelancer a more perfect game. With the advances in the game engine, and the inclusion of a multilayer, it brings to bare everything that Freelancer needed to have.
An interesting and ambitious mod that tries to remake Freelancer. It does a good job of advancing the underlying engine of the game with out breaking it. I will have to explore even more to see the full extent of this mod. After all Freelancer is a big game. And CrossFire expands that even further.
Good graphics, and great sounds, this mods is a fun and fast play.
One of the most interesting games to be made in a long time. Though not the easiest game to play, nor the most practical. it did raise a bar for games like Fable and Black & White that would fallow in its footsteps. Choice is a hard thing to put into a game. For with each one you need to see how the player may react to each and plan for their move. But unlike chess this is a much more complicated process, and Deus EX pulls it off like few others games can.
