any fresh news of this mod?
the teaser is very tempting, but too short.

it doesnt work in steam version of half life, and the installer only points to c:\sierra\hl so i instale din my steam\hl folder

it does show up in steam, but when i start it, it starts the old hl game with the residual point background on splashscreen, but no new RP maps....

no screenshots?

Looks like fun, i'm downloading.

big maps and lots of ennemies, i bet its great as a multiplayer co-op mod !!

HLmodchecker: My point was, that there is no description at all about your mod, no context, nothing about the level(s) or the point of the mod or objectives even. You go straight into the weapons and bosses.

i think it would be best to just come up with a fitting description of your mod, put it in the description area above, so everyone else will read it and not wonder what this mod is about. and put up some screenshots please, the video is bigger than the zipped mod itself.

Like for exmaple "You are gordon freeman and you have to do this and that to save the world, or save this or that city or blackmesa complex ... blablabla"

As it stands right now, it seems like this is only a weapons mod to play in the sp storyline with no new levels. You knwo that not true, and reading your comment we know that not the case.

But since you say "medium length action-filled adventure " i assume it means you have new map(s)... and objectives. Well it would be better to tell us about those. Like the objective of the game, how many maps, each level's objective, etc

A have screenshots, because without a description , or even with one, we could atleast see what your mod looks like. for all i know this is your 1st mod ever and you could have very good maps or very bad ones. Aren't you proud about your work ? Then show it off ;-)

Take a look at other mods on this site, the format of their description, maybe it will give you some ideas how to write a proper description.

ps: and whats the High-Definition pack ? from sven coop ? Fakefactory's ? how do we remove that and why not try to find a solution to the map's problem in the many HL forums ?

is this a weapons mod? or a level with things to do ?

i mean its nice to know 3 weapons and 5 bad guys, but whats the mod like ? the description isn't worth much without some context. and photos , photos would be good.

man, rikku, please make an installer with full patches for us , its alot to mess around with and code and it doesnt always work the way you'd think it would.

i'd very much like to try this mod, but whenever i try to open it i always get an error message from winrar 3.70 : unexpected end of archive, for both moddb and filefront downloads.

i cleared my browser cache between downloads and even tried with flashget 1.8.8, on 2 machines

after 4 attempts, i give up, please rebuild your archive and reupload. thank you.

hunger only works on hl1.

you may want to contact valve for info how to use hl1 dos in steam.

the readme isn't readable. its not english.

not everyone uses 7zip or winrar (wich handles 7z files), you should use .zip so everyone can use the file. its more portable. its standard.

why is it just a demo?

1st of all the movie is only 500k, how much can you actually show with that small size ?

2nd i start the movie and it only plays 1 second, i see the guy, james bond i guess, go down the stairs, the camera starts to pan across the wall and then it stops dead. nothing more. yet its suppsoed to last 1:50min ?
