Just an idea: how about an anomaly which doesn't harm the player, but which drains power from all electrical devices at a fast rate. Paired with chemlights or something similar it could add some interesting challenges in dark underground areas.
Is it possible to edit just the lowered ready position while leaving the ADS position as the original with this? Whenever I change non-ADS positioning the ADS position gets messed up too. I must be misunderstanding something.
Yeah, being able to keep my own diary each life would be a really cool immersive feature. Maybe export the notes to a .txt file automatically too so they don't get deleted in ironman deaths.
Nice model but holy cow what is the hud fov set to? Lots of other weapon mods go for a 40-50 HUD fov but with those setting sit looks like I'm carrying this thing in my mouth.

Having your own picture for selection in early game is super, super easy if you prefer that. Just add a new entry to items_trash.ltx by copying the existing photo item but renaming it, point it at a new texture (or rename the one existing in this mod) and then in the new game loadout .ltx add the name of the new photo. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes total.
Just had a little play around. Really nice model and texture. My only critique would be that I think the gun sits a little too close to the camera when not ADSing, and with a 4x scope attached (not ideal I know) it takes up literally half the screen.
The recoil pattern feels really nice.
I wonder if you've considered placing the weapon a lil lower and a little further out (like with the other SMGs) so that it's no so obstructive with a scope attached.
Cool addon! Any chance of an ADAR as an early-game 5.56, or the Soyuz 9mm carbine? I feel like there's a lack of civilian tier rifles/carbines suitable for the hobo phase that still have the nice modern look.
Should be fine with either. It's just an icon mod.

Another idea: some sort of purchasable/craftable emission detector + radio relay that gives a 2-3 minute advanced warning (via PDA message) of incoming emissions. The general radio chatter usually gives a day or two warning, so those Stalkers presumably get their news from somewhere!
There's also an object in the game called notebook which spawns a decorative laptop. I always thought it would be fun if you could use such a device to decode encrypted PDAs (perhaps with a timer so as to not make it ridiculously OP) instead of paying the 500ru to a mechanic. Not sure how that would work mechanically though.
Aoldri I wonder if you would be willing to add a generic object template/file structure to the download so us brainlets can see everything we need to add to create our own items. It would be hugely appreciated by at least one person!

Could well be a conflict with the ~150 mods I currently have installed, but psoting it just in case it's relevant generally.
As for furniture with functionality; how about a camp bed which could weigh 2-3 kg, but would be more "comfortable" than a regular sleeping bag. Could be deployed and slept in for some minor bonus like a very slight passive heal while sleeping, or perhaps a "well rested" bonus as with the sleeping roll? Perhaps you could even make it a shash object so players can add a sleeping bag and sleeping roll to the deployed bed (like the workbench and toolkits) to increase any bonuses.
Smoking should increase psy health regen.
Very nice, but are the in-game icons for bleeding/weight/healing/resists etc supposed to be black? They're very difficult to see in gameplay.
No MCM compatibility? Sadge.
If you released an entire icon pack in this quality i'm sure it would be popular, but only a handful of icons is sadly not very useful. I am using the backpack icons though!
